Why does it even matter?? Who cares who the 144,000 are anyway!! It's not you G-man right?? It's not me either. Rajk knows it's not him either.

The crux of the matter is to follow Christ and obey Him right? Indeed.

If the same kind of visions would be written down today, the author would end up in a mental hospital, or in a religious cult.
I have to agree in the sense that your right 🙂 If I wrote a book like revelation today People would say you've lost your mind.

Well maybe, but John 17:3 (New International Version - UK) says:
"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."
So knowing God would emply that we need to know the truths of him and of the bible and what he has in store for all of us.

1 Timothy 2:4 (King James Version) says:
"Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."
This would emply also that knowledge of the TRUTH is what man would need to have, to have a chance at salvation.

So it may not be a wise thing to not take this or any other part of the Bible with a "what so ever attitude" and just pass it off. God reads our hearts and motives and if we have that feeling about something as this, it could affect that prospect of everlasting life if on does not know the specifics of all matters of the Bible.

Why does having an absolute theological understanding of doctrine have to important?
God wants your love more than anything right?

It is a fine line between truth and madness!

The trouble is that the people who judge our sanity,(psycologists/psychiatrists), are often insane themselves. It is a fallcy to think we are sane just because we believe it.
Was not Jesus considered insane at the time when he was around by most people?
(or am I taking Mel Gibsons version of what happened too literallly? 🙂 )

John 17:3 seems to put importance on knowledge of spriitual matters... Everlasting life is at stake.

Here are the truthful answers which Galveston will not tell you :

1. Yes you HAVE TO BE A JW

2. What you must do is to join the JW Organisation and follow their beliefs

3. Matt 24:9. Only the true Christians are being persecuted and JWs are the only Christians being persecuted.

Whats so hard to understand? Its crystal clear !

In the thread you started on 'Hatred', you said (and Im paraphrasing) that the JWs are the only persecuted religion and hence the chosen ones.

In other threads you implied that the JWs are part of the 144,000 referred to in Rev and that no other contemporary religious group will qualify.

In other threads you said clearly that Israel is not the nation chosen by God, and you quoted passages which proved (in your mind) that God is taking away the Kingdom from the Jews and giving it to a nation bearing fruit. Then you quote passages to show only the JWs are the only ones bearing fruit.

In fact all your threads if people follow your rather shallow and childish logic, are designed to show that the JWs are the only true and accepted religious group. All other groups have gone astray.

That proves you secretly agree with what I said in 1, 2, and 3.

If not then answer in very clear English the questions Divegeester asked you.
