Proverbs 24
17 When your enemies fall, don’t rejoice.
When they stumble, don’t let your heart be glad,
18 or the Lord will see it and be displeased,
and he will turn his anger from them.
19 Don’t get fighting mad at evil people;
don’t be envious of the wicked.
20 Indeed, there is no future for the evil;
the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

Luke 11:4

4 Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who has wronged us.
And don’t lead us into temptation.’”

Wouldn't scripture like these show us that we are not against people, but
for them? Shouldn't the attitude be of grace in the face of those that are
heading to a devils Hell least we bar the way to God's grace instead of
showing it?

Id just like to point out the idea of Hell, as a place where persons are tortured perpetually for having sinned for seventy or eighty years, while being born sinful and having a predilection towards sin is entirely diametrically opposed to the idea of a loving God and in my opinion foments self righteousness.

Does it matter?
Do you have any thoughts on the topic or was it your intent to change the
subject on the first response?

sorry you mentioned Hell did you not. Here are your words,

Shouldn't the attitude be of grace in the face of those that are
heading to a devils Hell

It appears to me to be self righteous.

How so, you feel those that reject or miss God's grace will do what at judgment
day? Not sure what self-righteous has to do with anything, since it is God's
grace not my righteousness that matters in the end. I'm a sinner in need of
grace not one that earns my way into God's grace by anything I do or say.

I hope you are not trying to use these verses to say we should not fight the eneny to defeat them. It just doesn't work for me for I am glad when the enemy is defeated, for that means a time of peace is ahead.

My take on it is that God does not want to have to judge anyone. So why should we be glad when he does?

The wages of sin is 1. death or 2. eternal torment in a fiery Hell? Romans 6:23

You appear to me to be harbouring the opinion that its only other people that are on a
course to, as you put it, enter the Devils Hell, it strikes me as self righteous, that's all.
No one knows whether they will see salvation or not, for he who is standing had better
beware that he does not fall. If as you say, everyone can be a recipient of what you
term Gods grace, then it is clear that God is not finished with anyone yet and that
everyone has the potential to repent and thus be a recipient of, as you put it, Gods
grace, or undeserved kindness as the superlative New world translation puts it.

The Grace of God should therefore make us more empathetic towards people, but
not to the point of being condescending or self righteous, for we are also sinners in
need of that same undeserved kindness.

The wages of sin is 8.65 an hour.

Minimum wage in Ireland.

My take is that we should not overly rejoice by the type of judgment that has befallen our enemy that we treat our enemy with more evil and build up the anger of God aganst our own behavior.

After WWII we rejoiced because our enemy was defeated and the war was over, but then we helped our enemy recover afterwards and did not continue to hold a grudge. That, I believe, is what God wants us to do.

8.65 Euro not bad, the average monthly salary in Pakistan is 60 Euros and a single
chicken costs roughly a days wages 🙂 Any how back to the topic, should we gloat
when our enemies fall or stumble?

That's a pretty fair assessment.
