Seriously, you've seen the evidence, but you refuse to believe it, and that's all there is to it. Except you take it a step further by thinking and saying you "have no credible reason", which is just you burying your head in the sand.
I've seen Rev. 1:1. Is that strong evidence?

And, again, this idiotic remark is similar to divegeester's adamant refusal to believe that people can actually disagree with him without doing so in some kind of knee-jerk, intelligence-free way. Of course I always read what I respond to. Your problem is that I very seldom, almost never, in fact, agree with your pomposity.
As a wise woman once said, "Can we please have a thread without all the childish name-calling and venom for once?"

I wasn't safe before the Bible blew my mind. The Bible really blew my mind. The fact that me an overfed long haired leaping gnome should be the recipient of the light of the truth. But there I was... 😉
' long haired leaping gnome...'

You paint a vivid picture of yourself sir. I'm pretty sure I once encountered you in our local park, feeding the squirrels.

No. The evidence you've seen your whole life through. See what denial gets you? A narrow perspective.

You seem to think you can simply dismiss out of hand the truths of the Bible by arguing ad nauseam from skepticism.

Yep. That was me wiping greasy fingers on shabby clothes.

I'm just sharing my non-Christian perspective.

"Time" to do what exactly ~ in their minds? What do you think they meant by "keep up with it" and "find time"?
A true Christian will want to spend time with God - reading His Word and praying - and will want to receive instruction from His Word and fellowship with other believers.

Ideally, reading the Bible and praying are daily activities and I think are best when they take place first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Not that I currently or have always followed that schedule, but when I did, it was of enormous benefit.

Those who remove God from the equation and think being a Christian is just doing unidentified and unquantified “good works” don’t understand this. Nor do I think, in their heart of hearts, they believe God exists.

If the Creator of the universe and everything in it wanted a relationship with you, why on earth would anyone decline that, particularly when the Creator is omniscient, omnipotent, knows what is best long-term for us because He sees things from an eternal perspective, and is holy?

That wouldn't be an issue if you'd quit dissecting every word a body says and stay on point. You make simple meanings void by your methods of examination.

Sun streaking cold, an old man wandering lonely.

Incredible lyrics.

No I don't. But I do sometimes show that what someone is saying is, quite simply, void of meaning when one dissects it.

Yes, and you torture the words of others until they are void of meaning.

Of course there's the possibility you don't realize you're doing it.

Now if you're done talking over me to expound your point again, you'll notice that I answered your question, despite your clear acrobatics.
