So do you think the majority that live in an environment have the right to dictate the laws?
Even if only a minority were to support laws forbidding child sexual abuse, neglect, and endangerment, I think the government would be right to enact and enforce laws that protected children.

The question is 'Don't you concede that your personal opinions could be wrong?' I have already suggested that I am open to being persuaded that I am wrong. Are you?
Of course, if they are my personal opinions and only that, then they could be wrong.

FMF: When you say "a correct way", do you mean there is only one to raise a child?

You seem to think that your opinions are correct, don't you?
You said "Either there is a correct way to raise a child or there isn't."

So I'll ask again, do you believe there is only one way to raise a child? I don't. Do you?

So we both accept that our views on raising children could be wrong.

What is your response to the objectives I talked about on page 11?

I believe that God has given us the Bible as a guideline on how do raise a child.

But my question is this: do you believe there is only one way to raise a child? As for me, I do not.

I believe that God is the author of all truth, so if your objectively are in line with what I believe to be God's revealed truth, then they are true, if not then they are merely your own opinions and could be wrong.

Be all that is it may, but my question is what is your response to the objectives I talked about on page 11? Do you agree with the objectives?

See my answer addressed to you, in response to the same question.

I am not asking about your personal opinions about what the 'God content' should be in your indoctrination of your children; I am asking you about the objectives that I described. Do you share them?

So does a society have a right in itself to make laws that govern how children should be treated? Yes or No?

Why are you asking me this again? It's perfectly obvious what I believe about child protection laws if you read what I have already written.

So what if two different societies contradict each other on what the right way is to raise a child, how do you establish which society is right?

Well I would have my moral take on the different situations and it might lead to me being an activist (or even standing for office), or to me being a conscientious objector in some way, or even to me not wanting to live in a certain society and moving, instead, to one that I found more morally sound. .

Parents should just try their best. They should stay within the laws. Occasionally society has to intervene.
Which laws do you think my parents broke?
