Apart from Him we can do nothing, He is the vine we are the branches so we must abide in Him.
Saved by Grace through faith does not automatically mean eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Paul went to great lengths to explain this to the churches in his letters. They are two different things.
You would like to think that it does because you are a lazy [apparently rich as well] Christian who dislikes good works and righteousness. You simply want li ...[text shortened]... self-centered life and do the lip service thing and hope that will work. Well you are mistaken.
We are not just or righteous enough outside of Jesus Christ, if we were or could be why would Jesus have to die for us?

The Priest and Levite had faith and believed.
The Good Samaritan had works.
The Priest and Levite types with their faith and belief will be condemned.
The Good Samaritan will be in the Kingdom of God.
Faith alone saves nobody.
Faith without works is dead
Read your bible.

The point is that you MUST be a good neighbour OTHERWISE there is no inheritance in the Kingdom of God. It is the teachings of the whole bible.
You and your proclamations of faith are worthless.

I thought as much but how you said it made me think you were going on about yourself. Can not read minds you need to be clear and specific!
Especially in this case where what DG wrote is "clear and specific" to anyone having at least average reading comprehension skills. Blatantly shameless blame shifting on KJ's part.
KJ continues to allow his pride to get the better of him.

Never mind that Jesus clearly and unambiguously states that He will say that to those who have not ceased to do evil.
Matthew 7
23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
The following sheds further light on the above:
Isaiah 1
15“So when you spread out your hands in prayer,
I will hide My eyes from you;
Yes, even though you multiply prayers,
I will not listen.
Your hands are covered with blood.
16“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.
Cease to do evil,
17Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Reprove the ruthless,
Defend the orphan,
Plead for the widow.
18“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the LORD,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
