After His resurrection Christ Jesus told His disciple to go teach all nations and baptize them in THE NAME of THE FATHER, and of THE SON, and of THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is called the Trinitarian Baptism that Christ commanded.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinitarian_formula
the trinitarian doctrine is not about baptism, it's about the non-biblical claim that the father, son and holy spirit are co-equal, co-eternal and the same being. at no time, ever, has christ claimed to be co-equal with his father, nor has he ever claimed to be co-eternal.
in fact, if you ever bother to read the new testament, you will find that christ claims the exact opposite, the all his powers come from the father, that his powers are temporary until his work is done, and that he does the will of his father. christ himself denounces the non-existent trinitarian formula.
Originally posted by RJHindsthat is true. but you ignore the evidence that none of the disciples ever used that formula, nor did it exist in early writings that quoted that verse.
Again you are quoting from a false teaching of the Unitarians. Someone saying it was added later in history does not make it so.
also, someone claiming "false teaching of the unitarians" does not make it so. you have no evidence for your claims. they have evidence for theirs.
Originally posted by RJHindsYou are right there buddy. You believe a false pagan doctrine that is full of non biblical lies. So that covers that.
You don't believe me. That covers it.
So why do you still refuse to make any comments about those scriptures? Could it be you have no answer? Nothing to counter them as they clearly say the opposite of what you believe?
This must be hard for you as the things you so dearly believe are not in the Bible and it must be hard to constantly come up with fabricated answers, when you can of course, to stay afloat?
Originally posted by VoidSpiritYou must be daft, if you do not see the trinity in that. The Pharisees attempted to stone Jesus for claiming to be equal with God. He referred to God as 'My Father" and He said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgiveable. Peter said that lying to the Holy Spirit was lying to God etc., etc., etc. Read the Holy Bible and maybe you will not make so many ignorant statements

I'm haven't seen that myself but I suppose it's a possibility.
I find it odd that he sticks to scriptural doctrine except when it comes to homosexuality. He then uses non doctrinal reasoning to explain why it is acceptable. I know he has personal reasons for it but I would think if he expouses Gods word as truth , he would not try to humanly rationalize a particular part of it.
God bless.

Originally posted by RJHindsso far, all you've done is demonstrate your ignorance of buying into trinitarian propaganda. you don't have enough knowledge to realize that it is they who have twisted scripture to suit their needs and despite being shown that no form of the trinity doctrine exists anywhere in the bible, the daft archetypal christian character you have adopted refuses to see it.

Also you never answered my question..
So, from what I gather from your comments...
1. If you don't believe in the trinity, you are an idiot?
2. If you don't believe in the trinity, you are not a Christian?
