Most likely true.

Christian is a wordly term. Those who know God should not use it, but it us engraved in our culture.

Do you believe Jesus is working through you and, in a sense, can be seen through your demeanour and interactions in this community?

What I believe is none of your concern.

Your end depends on you. Concern yourself with yourself.

Your behavior is our concern though. I think you've confirmed we shouldn't pin it on any text.

You really spout off a lot of things as if they were facts. How do you know what most Christians do? Who do you even call Christians?

It's in the Bible.

You can say that of anyone, but especially of those with no other recourse.

You are a proof that the opening post is correct. You did not know that the Bible never said that Jesus was born without sin.

Very true indeed. You did not know that the Bible never said that Christians dont go to heaven when they die.

That's what makes you an arrogant liberal.

You and your ilk are tyrants who if ever get power try to control people.

If you do end up in power you'd have to be killed by better people than yourself.

More to the point, you shouldn't pin any text on him.

He is not exactly the best representative of Christianity, and the Bible should not be shown lacking because of how people like him twist its meaning.

And you are a prime example of how the literalists are a plague on society. That fact (yes, fact) can easily be derived from what the Bible does say, but you are so set in your monolithic, concrete ideas that your development is held back.

Stop making the Bible into your God.

We can derive a whole boatload of meaning based on what the Bible does say (this is a perfect example), but because it is not in the text, you choose to remain one of the ancient men of Genesis who had to have everything spelled out for them.

Where exactly did you think the concept of original sin came from? Why do you think Jesus was born of a virgin? Great pains were taken to ensure that Jesus was born without sin, but you insist on ignoring all of it. God abhors sin, and since Jesus was a physical manifestation of God, what makes you think he would allow sin to defile him in any way? OF COURSE he was born without sin. The reason it's "not in the Bible" is because it doesn't have to be. It's pretty freaking obvious.

But of course that doesn't stop you and people like you from bleating "it's not in the Bible!!!" and so therefore "it cannot be true". The Bible doesn't say anything about the United States, either; does that mean the US doesn't exist? The Bible doesn't tell us everything, it's assumed that we can figure out the obvious stuff. No mention of bacteria in the Bible, either, but we figured that one out quite well. Start using your brain and stop making the Bible into your God. It's just a tool we were given to understand God more fully. It wasn't meant to become our God, like you and others have done.

Do you believe you are "forgiven" and "saved" by Jesus?
