you can get to see him for twenty pounds, per person, which apparently includes some kind of package, maybe an indulgence here an indulgence there, who can tell. I plan to sneak in and witness to him, hoping to bring him to an accurate knowledge of truth, wish me luck 🙂
If I were in Bonnie Glasgow I would visit Clan Quality Chess wistling Far o'er the Sea and Within a Mile o' Edinburgh and The Meeting of the Waters and I would bow to Aagaard, McNab, Tiemmann and Greet amongst else. Great material they are bringing up, this is all I want to have in my sporran; and I would thank in person Mrs Scott, for every single book I received was in perfect condition.

Wish you good luck? No way my feer; I 'ld rather end up a jolly beggarman (he took the daughter afterall and to the bed he ran) than wastin' twenty precious pounds fuir nuffin😵

Lol, you could whistle Dixie dear beetle and you would be welcome! or better still, we could sing for the Pope, Hey, Johnnie Pope, are Ye Waking Yet? and try to gently wake him from his spiritual slumber. I agree, one would be as well advised to smoke that twenty pound note as spend it on seeing the Pope 🙂

if you were in paradise, free from all the ills which mar the system, destined to live forever under perfect circumstances, you wouldn't be smiling? i guess cynicism recognises no boundaries.
Cynisicism? I'm just trying to help you kids out is all. By all means, keep them smiling, just don't expect other people to relate is all.

Just out of curiousity, do you smile all the time?

How did Christ reach out to the masses? Did he do it by preaching about heaven and how great it is? If memory serves, he spoke about breaking the chains of sin in our lives and offering a "better way".

How swift are we talking? If he has not brought destruction upon himself in say the next 1 year, can we conclude that you are wrong and he is not a false prophet? What about 10 years?
If we cannot make conclusions in the negative (ie when he doesn't match the verse), then does the verse have any real use or meaning?

Can we say that anybody in the past ...[text shortened]... atively comfortably for at least 20 years after making the claim), is therefore a true prophet?
I dont get it. Why do atheists stick their nose into bible discussions ?

Its a direct quote from the Bible. I did not make it up.

Well it seemed to me that you were threatening him by saying that he was in for a swift destruction. So I was just testing out the validity of your threat. It seems that your reluctance to respond means it was really an empty threat. You merely used the Bible to try and dress up your empty threat in a semblance of authority.
I see no reason why anyone, atheist or otherwise should not call you on that.

But you now have to either admit that your interpretation was wrong, or the Bible is wrong. A difficult choice isn't it?

I made no threats. The JWs have been proven over and over to be false prophets. The Bible has over and over condemned false prophets.

The fact that I cannot explain what 'swift destruction' is, is irrelevant. The fact that you cannot explain why the sun is a burning ball of fire does not mean it does not exist.

There are many truths in this universe which remain truths whether or not we understand them or believe in them.
