'Preaching to the choir.' actually means I agree with you, fool.
Here you say you agree with me, suddenly. Subsequently, you insist that you don't.

I don't know about you, but my thoughts and beliefs have changed much since I first became a Christian. I have grown much. So, to say I have to reach some destination of thought or deed before I am able to be called a legitimate Christian is absurd, especially by an atheist.
People who are credibly labelled "Christian" share the belief that God sent his son Jesus, the messiah, to save the world. They believe that Jesus was crucified and died in order to offer the forgiveness of sins and the opportunity for what they see as "salvation". They believe that Jesus rose from the dead and later ascended to heaven in order to "conquer death".

Page 12. You purported to agree with this:

It's not a matter of being "conservative" about Christianity. It's a matter of defending the meaning of words. A person who "doesn't believe that the life and death of Jesus actually happened" may well believe in a God figure but they cannot be labelled "Christian". Nothing is to be gained from stripping the meaning from the word.

Is that not the teachings of Jesus?

"Christian" teaching about Jesus is that he actually lived, that he was actually crucified and that he actually rose from the dead and later ascended to heaven to give everyone the opportunity for what they see as "salvation".

I mainly agree. Either one is following Jesus and His teachings, or they are not. However, ones beliefs can and will change over time. So, it is not for you to judge anyone to be a true Christian or not. Especially as an atheist. What a joke... Telling someone how they need to believe in Christ, when they don't believe in Christ themselves. LOL, One can't make this bs up.

Oh, so now it's you "mainly" agree and then you qualify that by describing how you basically don't agree with me at all.

Yes. People's beliefs can change over time such that the label "Christian" no longer applies.
