Telling someone how they need to believe in Christ, when they don't believe in Christ themselves. LOL, One can't make this bs up.
People can attach whatever label they want to their own faith.

They can follow some of the teachings of Christ if they want; I do for example; values based on teachings attributed to Jesus in part shape my moral compass; it doesn't make me a "Christian" though.

To "believe in Christ" and be accurately labelled a "Christian", one needs to subscribe to the core beliefs of Christianity with regard to Jesus: his actual life, actual death, his actual resurrection, and the actual "salvation" that this affords those who believe in him.

I wrote what I wrote.
Yes, you disagreed. Then you pretended to agree. Now you have reverted to disagreeing with me.

What I said is that I am not interested in discussing my own personal experience of having Christian faith with you.

Says you, the non-believing atheist. Yawn.

Either one is following Jesus and His teachings, or they are not.
I think "following Jesus and His teachings" is that and only that. I think being a "Christian" is more than that: it's a set of core beliefs about what is perceived to be Jesus's actual identity, the significance of his actual life, and the meaning of his actual death and resurrection.

Why do you keep repeating yourself over and over? Are you okay? Did you take your meds yet? Are you drinking?
So now you do have Christian faith. I knew you were lying.

This is a textbook example of the logical fallacy called ad hominem. The fact that I am [1] an agnostic atheist and [2] an ex-Christian does not affect the validity of what I am saying, and you referring to it is essentially a gimmick you are using to NOT engage the argument.

What you are saying has no validity as an atheist fool.

My agnostic atheism is irrelevant. On page 12 you described my position as "preaching to the choir". Now, on page 16 you are claiming that what I am saying "has no validity".

See how mixed up you are by attempting to mix your Christianity with your atheism?

No, I never said that at all. I am on the 16th page of talking about Christianity on this thread alone. What I did say, however, was that I wasn't interested in talking to you specifically about my loss of faith.

I am not a Christian because I don't subscribe to the core beliefs about Jesus that are fundamental to Christianity. I am not "mixed up" about this in the slightest.
