Is this a joke? The only "ad hominem" around here is you.
No it's not a joke. You obviously don't understand what the term means. You should look it up. You really should have become aware of what the common logical fallacies are when you were at university.

This is a spoonful of word salad. If you actually knew what "ad hominem" meant, you would not have typed this sentence.

This kind of banter only signals that you are taking flight from the discussion.

You're the one who cannot stay on topic, you keep drifting off into fallacy's. I'm right here liar boy.

No, you are mistaken. A person cannot be an "ad hominem". An "ad hominem" is a kind of "argument", it is not a person; it is a logically fallacious rhetorical gimmick used to sidestep an argument. Look it up.

The assertion that a non-Christian cannot identify the core beliefs of Christianity is an ad hominem and not a serious attempt to debate the topic.

I know what it is and what it means. It describes you perfectly in this forum. Can I make my statement any clearly than that for you?

I think a Jew or Christian or a Hindu - or even an agnostic atheist like me - can say, - categorically, without error - that a person claiming to be a Muslim who, nevertheless, believes that Jesus was God incarnate/ the Son of God, is not a Muslim.

An "ad hominem" does not and cannot "describe" a person. You obviously don't understand what it means.

Look up what an "ad hominem" is and then come back and make a "statement" about it.

It's clear you know nothing of the Muslim religion.
Your attempts to judge those who believe, with your un-belief beliefs is hilarious. Proceed FMF. lol...

I am not "judging those who believe". I am pushing back against a lazy usage of a word that rinses it of its usefully specific meaning.
