Jews who deny Jesus Christ is the Messiah written about in the Old Testament are, in my opinion, willfully ignorant.
-Removed-You’re picking nits, tiger. I considered it an honor to be placed in the company of Jesus. I guess I also considered it high praise because it confirmed my status as a Christian to unbelievers.
“Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.”
(John 15:20-21)
I wasn’t comparing myself to Jesus nor would I ever be so foolish to do that. If you think I am or would be, that’s fine. You’re wrong, but it wouldn’t be the first time, nor will it be the last.

Obviously

There are other prophecies in the Old Testament which are pretty hard to dispute, and, when you combine that with all the other evidence, it’s hard to see, imo, how “willfully ignorant” is not an accurate description.

"willfully" ignorant?

The attempted personalizing-intensifier effect of the word, when you use it this way, makes you sound pretty silly and doesn't say anything at all about the Jews you think you are successfully trash talking about.
Do you see what I'm getting at, even if you don't agree?
-Removed-You obviously can think I was comparing myself to Jesus if you want. As I said, you’re wrong, but it’s not the first time and won’t be the last.
I’ve said several times on here, including tonight, that I’m a sinner and a work in progress - every honest Christian will admit the same.
Jesus Christ lived a sin-free life and was perfect. It’s ridiculous to think I was comparing myself to Him, but believe whatever you want to believe.
As far as persecutions go, Jesus Christ, as well as Paul, said Christians should expect that. I didn’t say that; they did.
Originally posted by @fmfI disagree that I’m trash talking. When I used the word “stupid,” I recognized it was inappropriate and harsh, which is why I switched to “ignorant.”

And for Jews to deny Jesus Christ is the Messiah when they’re not even aware Isaiah 53 is not in the New Testament is willful ignorance. There’s nothing preventing them from reading the Old Testament and researching the Messianic prophecies and other evidence for Christ’s Resurrection.
