Oh well. So no unsolicited retrospective endorsement of my former Christianity from you then, it seems.

And no endorsement of my tolerance, knowledge or education, either. Or my humility. Or patience. I seem to have struck out completely with you this evening, robbie.

no, you simply make the most belittling comments about things you have no knowledge
of, experience of or understanding about, its arrogant FMF and does you no favours,
now take the medicine and cheer up, we cannot know everything. You are patient and
erudite and articulate and a whole host of other things besides.

You may have a point. And I suppose your own lack of self-righteousness and your own reluctance to be judgmental makes this attempt of yours to belittle me all the more telling.

I have no doubt that more than a few who claimed they were once Christians are
going to be standing in front of Him and hear the words, "Depart from me I never
knew you." since they deny ...[text shortened]... of life itself, I don't know what they walked away from but it was
not Jesus Christ.

You could replace the word Jesus with cigarettes.....

Long while now been getting rid of those things which are behind (Phil. 3:13-14). Wondering if you've still got junk in your

baggage and dormitory trunks or if you, too, are letting it go and travelling light. No public disclosure of details, please.

I chucked the whole thing out along with the tooth fairy when I was 8. Even before that I could see the whole religious deal as fakery, but got validation of that when I was 8, because of my Grandmother, bless her pea picking heart, because of her I am free of all that original sin virgin birth ressurection BS.

Sumydid doesn't know his arse from his elbow. The fact of the matter is, when you were finally cornered and you couldn't waffle your way out, the truth finally revealed itself. You can of course change this at any point - just give me your address and feel free to send me any literature in return.😀

If you were there, I would agree with that statement.

It's a sad state of affairs, religious people deluded so badly in their own religion, they are holding up the progress of mankind to a real era of human maturity. Till we sham the shackles of organized religion, mankind will wallow in immaturity and all that that entails. (wars, wars and more wars) If mankind was mature, there wouldn't be squabbles over whose god is more fierce and such.

There will be zero growth towards human maturity, as a race, when there are so many religions at each other's throat, diabolically opposed to one another.

As long as that lasts, the race as a whole will be chained to ancient dogma unable to see a way out except more fighting. This is in no way a spiritual way of life. It is the controllers Vs the controlled.

Yeah, if you chucked all your religious baggage you might even make some advances in maturity but NOOO, you are stuck with your delusions, along with a few billion other lost people.

you have nothing, why has materialism failed? because its deviod and empty, a
delusion, an unreality, a nothingness. Ask it a question and it has no answers, how did
we get here? dont know, where are we going? dont know, why are we here, cant say,
what will the future bring, who knows. These fundamental and almost elementary
questions have been answered, we know why we are here, we know where we are
going, we know what Gods purpose is, we know what the future holds, you have
absolutely nothing to offer, zilch, zero, centre of a doughnut, nada!
