Very true Robbie. We have very happy messages when we go to the doors and I know we both have tried to share that here. But it either gets ignored or the usual suspects jump in with their attacks and just after a few post it's been destroyed.
All others will die in Armageddon.
The fact that you cannot see what is wrong there is shocking to many.

(Revelation 19:11-18) And I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And
the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war
in righteousness. His eyes are a fiery flame, and upon his head are many diadems.
He has a name written that no one knows but he himself, and he is arrayed with an
outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God.
Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him on white horses, and they
were clothed in white, clean, fine linen. And out of his mouth there protrudes a
sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it, and he will shepherd
them with a rod of iron. He treads too the winepress of the anger of the wrath of
God the Almighty. And upon his outer garment, even upon his thigh, he has a
name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. I saw also an angel standing in the
sun, and he cried out with a loud voice and said to all the birds that fly in
midheaven: “Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God,
that you may eat the fleshy parts of kings and the fleshy parts of military
commanders and the fleshy parts of strong men and the fleshy parts of horses and
of those seated upon them, and the fleshy parts of all, of freemen as well as
of slaves and of small ones and great.”
which part of this dont you understand? The only shocking thing is that you hide the
coming wrath from others under a namby pamby image of Jesus that you have
fabricated. When were you going to warn the people? Like never! Its the
equivalent of knowing an impending disaster is about to ensue and warning no one
about it, i find that infinitely more shocking to be honest.

that's because those who are evangelising are the ones that will be saved!
Joel 2:32
If you could only free yourself from the dogma that blinds you , I think we'd be much closer. Then again you may not wish to be closer to me .
Anyway, If I'm not going to hell, (as you have stated that JW's dont believe in hell), then where am I going? Nowhere?
I'm interested. Genuinly.
The reason we do talk about the impending "Day of Jehovah" or Armegeddon, is because it is real. It's clearly spoke of in the Bible and how it will happen and the reason for this.
The bible also clearly says it will be an event that not many will survive.
But the Bible clearly outlines what it will take to survivie that day of destruction.
This is one of the main reasons JW's speak of this in our ministry. And the reason we do that is the door is still open for whoever wants to listen and learn and to see what the Bible requires of them to gain a relationship with Jehovah and to hopefully not die and even have the opportunity to gain everlasting life.
To me the obvious question to those here who scoff at our message, is why? Is this opportunity to learn about Jehovah and then to possible survive armegeddon and to live is a bad thing?
Is it a bad thing for a whole family group to learn this great thing and to live into the promised new world together that Jehovah promisses US ALL if we choose that path?
So why the constant negativity towards this prospect that we simply show to ones from their own bibles? Why are so many against this?
Simply put, they don't believe it. And why is that? Could it be their churches they we raised in or became a member of does not teach this bible fact?
If so why don't their churches teach this to them or see that in their own Bibles?
Are they being blinded? If so by whom?

Yep, that's pretty much the way I see the positive aspects of christianity. and I'm always one for seeking out the positive stuff in everything.
Stripped down to it's bare essentials, (the simple words of JC), christianity sounds pretty good.

This ...[text shortened]... ach this to them or see that in their own Bibles?
Are they being blinded? If so by whom?
Now I am open to your message. I have (nearly ) always opened my door to anyone including JW's. i'm not scared, especially not of death .
But I think you want this prophecy to be fullfilled just so your ego will be satisfied and you can say "I told ya so" . Now that is dumb. Short-sighted.
The name of Jehovah means nothing to them ?
What about the name of this forum? "Spirituality" derived from the word "Spirit". We cant even get a thread going about the name of the forum because ... well it seems that no one really agrees at all about what "Spirit" means.
You see, dear G-man, you seem so cok-sure of your religion that your ears closed to everything else. You talk as if there is an end. You talk as if "God" or Jehovah is a limited being. "God" is limitless and all the great sages never stop learning. how can they? There is a whole universe out there (and in here) waiting for you. Patiently, like a parent waiting for their kids to take their first steps. "Gods" patience is unlimited, but if you remain a child who takes his guidance from a book then that's what you shall be.
you want a personal r'ship with "God" ? Cause I think He (It) wants one with you, dear G-man 🙂

Sorry dude. perhaps you could try again with a different analogy?? That one just isn't doing it for me

Just humor me on this one..What would you do?
Maybe I would put the kettle on and ring my daughter. Who knows. It really depends on a lot of other things, like the weather and such.
What would you do?
"But I think you want this prophecy to be fullfilled just so your ego will be satisfied and you can say "I told ya so" . Now that is dumb. Short-sighted."
Wow..That is so wrong and yes that is very short sided to say on your part and I actully take that as an insult to myself and all the JW's I have known all my life that have spent thousands of hours out in the cold, heat, rain with little kids that can be a handfull, used their own money for gas they can't afford to get to your door, have been chased out of yards and have had dogs sent out ofter them, spit on, been chased out of towns and yes, even been killed to bring you that message of hope for a better world to live in and you say this? Really? Are you for real?
You should be ashamed to say the least......
Originally posted by galveston75I've "humored" you now with this odd question, but truth be told, I really dont think I am thinking about this ship analogy the same way as you are, so maybe if you answer some of my ideas/ questions then we could establish a better dialogue, as it is my on-going wish to communicate with you and everyone as well as possible. dont you?
