Everyone willing to work.

Until one has farmed, one doesn't know what work is.

If everyone quit having kids then the human race would be extinct within one generation. No need for anyone to kill themselves. That's not really necessary, though. It would be sufficient for people to have far fewer children and have the population drop a billion or two over time.

So, no, we can't go back, but we can realize the mistakes we've made and try to mitigate their effects.
Seems like we have to get a consensus on how many happy humans the Earth can support given our current limitations.
I've heard the figure 15 billion bandied around by some spiritual cult, but I am having trouble trying to figure out all the logistics, like for example how much space do we (and the Earth need) to be kept natural and how much can we develop?
How can the third world catch up sustainability issues, the first world is just dealing with? etc.

Im just saying that not everone needs to farm for the world to have enough food. Some people should concentrate on cooking πŸ™‚

edit: I'm sure there are ways to know what "work" is. And yes, I have "farmed" myself.

Everyone should grow their own food and cook their own food.

Then no one would go hungry.

I don't think Jesus was for letting anyone starve, regardless of whether they worked.

Sounds boring and impracticle.
I dont cook for myself. When I am alone I just have a sandwich. Whenever the boy or anyone else is here I cook dinner because it's more practicle.

I dont need all those dishes for one meal.
I reckon we whould be cooking for 15-20 everytime when practicle.
Saves on energy,etc.

I don't think Jesus would let anyone starve either. But Jesus isn't here either. When He gets here things are going to be different. Everything will be different. Everything will be restored. In the mean time people are starving.

Even if we all(mankind)collectively pooled all our resourses, we will never end our blight.

Didn't you get past the first line? How about the rest of the post,eh? You didn't address any of my points. I know you are an experienced poster, so there really should be no excuse as to why you are giving me daniel58/RJHinds-type comments. And, if you continue, you shall be vanquished into the same category.

Holy moly karoly! Please don't vanquish me. I'm sorry.

Live how ever you want. Eat sandwiches. I don't care. I like sandwiches.

By the way. My wife does all the cooking/cleaning/dish washing etc. around the house. I just belly up to the table. I got it made. πŸ™‚

Thats a much nicer and funnier way to ignore my points.

(I know, I know, they were a bit stale and common sense-y to try any proper discussion. Fret not, I promise to be back to my outrageous best soon.Plent of fodder to attack for the theist and atheist alikeπŸ™‚ )

edit:and BTW it's just "Holy Karoly" πŸ˜‰ & πŸ˜€

LOL

Don't get me wrong. I didn't deliberately ignore your points. I simply elected to not reply to every single thing you said for reasons of my own.

we've been there... it sucked.
are you for real in suggesting this self evidently stupid idea?
Read the thread to find out why it is not currently possible for everyone to have their own plot of land and farm it.
