He carried up our sins in His body onto the tree, says the Apostle Peter.
[Christ] "Who Himself bore up our sins in His body on the tree, in order that we, having died to sins, might live i to righteousness, by whose stripes we were healed." (2 Pet. 2:24)
This so that God could look upon you as if you never sinned at all. As to eternity, the believe is judge in Christ, on His cross.
If you were to try to remind God of what you did, He would say, I don't know what you are talking about. Your debt has been paid in Jesus at Calvary. PAID in FULL.
Only this knowledge renders true peace to the heart of man.
You will never know real peace until you say "Yes, God. I go along. I agree. Jesus Christ, I accept as having PAID my debt,"
This is the beginning. This is the foundation of life.
He wants us to believe.
Like the struggling father of the sick child, we can say "Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief."
@sonship saidThere is no such doctrine or statement in the Bible about "PAID IN FULL". That is a false Satanic doctrine perpetrated by the church

Some sins are cancelled and paid for by the death of Christ, but if after accepting Christ the professed believer goes back into the mire of false doctrines and continuous sin then there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins and he will face the judgment of God.
@sonship saidThis is similar to the notorious "Lord Lord" doctrine that Jesus condemned:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:21-27 KJV)
Professions of faith are useless.
Claiming to have the Holy Spirit is similarly useless
Doing miracles, casting out devils again is pointless.
What counts is the DOING of the commandments.
Jesus said the wise man follows the commandments but the fool does not
@sonship saidIt matters not. The Kingdom of God is not going to be populated with priests and Levites, neither the bright bible experts, nor the "Lord Lord" church types. Jesus said
@Rajk999Your boast of knowledge that you believe to be superior to others is your failing
I think you are the only one I told that to.
I don't recall saying it or wanting to say it to anyone else but you.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:3-10 KJV)
You would do well to preach as Jesus did and focus on what Jesus said, instead of trying to promote your Satanic doctrine.
You would do well to preach as Jesus did and focus on what Jesus said, instead of trying to promote your Satanic doctrine.
If I debate you, you slide quickly away like a slimy eel and but tossing names at me behind you.
Saying that I know the Bible better than you is no big deal. You don't know or believe it much at all.
You can taunt.
You cannot present your arguments to stand against close examination.
@sonship saidI do not debate.

I do not present any arguments.
I quote what Jesus said.
I show you where what you said, is contrary to what Jesus said.
That is all I do.
So far almost nothing your say is in line with the teachings of Christ.
@Rajk999
Your stuff doesn't stand up under close examination.
Whether done in a nice tone or rudely, either way.
Your teaching doesn't stand up to close examination with the Bible.
I've been nice with you and I have been not nice with you.
Makes no difference either way to your lop-sided, myopic heresies.
@sonship saidThe idea of the Trinity (something unknown to the apostles) doesn't stand up to close examination.

The idea of the Trinity (something unknown to the apostles) doesn't stand up to close examination.
The writers of the New Testament may not have used the word "trinity". But it is ludicrous to suggest they did not realize God is the Father - Son - Holy Spirit.
Paul's language about the three-oneness of God is spoken as "shop talk". It is spoken as experiential fellowship taking for granted that the audience knew what he was saying.
Romans 8:9-11 uses the names interchangeably -
The Spirit of God
the Spirit of Christ
Christ
The Spirit of Him who raised Christ Jesus from the dead
Without writing ... "TRINITY" ... the TRUTH of the mysterious three-one nature of God is quite clear there in his writings.
That is why the ancient brothers of the early Christian centuries could not be hoodwinked by the Modalists and Tritheists and Arians and ancient JWs all of whom wanted to assault the truth of God's nature revealed in the Bible.
All these heretics, and modern ones too, COME to the Bible with what they WANT to believe FIRST. Hunting for justifications of what they WANT to believe about God, they arrive at these heterodox attacks.
All one can say is that Peter, Paul, John, Mark, Luke, Matthew, James, etc, etc did not use the WORD - "trinity".
@sonship saidMy stuff? There is no "my stuff". I quote Jesus Christ. For example here is one such passage that you wish was not in the Bible

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (Matthew 5:3-12 KJV)
You disagree that these people who do good works and live righteously will be in the Kingdom. Your disagreement is with Christ, not me.
Nice or not nice counts for nothing. Why you bother mentioning it escapes me.
@sonship saidThe problem with the Trinity is that it is forced to fabricate doctrines which Jesus did not preach, and which Jesus actually spoke against.
@Ghost-of-a-DukeThe idea of the Trinity (something unknown to the apostles) doesn't stand up to close examination.

Jesus said His Father is greater, [and so did Paul], while the doctrine of the Trinity says they are equal. Therefore the doctrine is unbiblical.
Rajk999 the heretic writes:
There is no such doctrine or statement in the Bible about "PAID IN FULL". That is a false Satanic doctrine perpetrated by the church
The New Testament on the other hand teaches that Christ accomplished an "eternal redemption".
PAID IN FULL -
"And not through the blood of goats and calves but through His own blood, entered once for all into the Holy of Holies,
obtaining an eternal redemption." (Hebrews 9:12)
Whatever this heretic teaches, don't believe him that Christ did not "[obtain] an ETERNAL REDEMPTION".
The eternal redemption leads the redeemed to "an ETERNAL INHERITANCE"
And because of this He is the Mediator of a new covenant, so that death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant,
those who have been called might receive the promise of the ETERNAL INHERITANCE." (Hebrews 9:15)
The believers have positionally been sanctified ONCE FOR ALL.
"By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL." (Hebrews 10:10)
The believers have been positionally perfected FOREVER as they are undergoing dsipositional transformation of inward sanctification.
For by ONE OFFERING He has perfected FOREVER those who are being sanctified. (Heb. 10:14)
Being sanctified now that we have been "perfected forever".
PAID IN FULL = eternal redemption which leads to "eternal inheritance" because of Christ's offering of Himself "once for all " .
Having accomplished eternal redemption, Christ as the heavenly High Priest sat down forever, having completed THAT aspect of His work.
"But this One, having offered ONE SACRIFICE for sins, sat down forever on the right hand of God,
Henceforth waiting until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet." (Heb. 10:12,13)
@sonship saidPAID IN FULL is not in the Bible and is NOT eternal redemption which leads to "eternal inheritance". This once saved always saved doctrine is a fools delusion. If you continue to read a few verses down in Hebrews 10, you will see the whole story
Rajk999 the heretic writes:There is no such doctrine or statement in the Bible about "PAID IN FULL". That is a false Satanic doctrine perpetrated by the church

PAID IN FULL -"And not through the blood of goats and calves but through ...[text shortened]... ceforth waiting until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet." (Heb. 10:12,13)
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:26-29 KJV)
Jesus Christ death was one part.
The other part is righteousness and good works of the professed believer.
BOTH together = eternal inheritance
Paul said a dozen times to the saved, born-again, Christian Saints, that failure to live righteously means that there will be no inheritance in the Kingdom of God.
But false Satanic preachers like YOU and your ilk continue to fool the Adams and Eves of this world, telling them that it is OK to disobey God.
You are going to be cast into the lake of fire sonship. Your deceit, lies and false doctrines are fooling the innocent and the gullible.
