Rajk999,
I was judged already on Calvary.
There Christ obtained for me "an eternal redemption."
I have something that the world did not give me.
And the world cannot take it away.
The five warnings in the book of Hebrews are about the loss of reward in the millennial age not the loss of eternal life.
They are strict.
And they are stearn.
But not one of them UNDOES the eternal redemption obtained by Christ and the eternal inheritance enjoyed eventually by every human being who was saved.
An aspect of the new covenant covered in Hebrews 10 is that their sins and their lawlessnesses God will by no mean remember any more.
He then says, " and their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall by no means remember anymore.
Now where forgiveness of these is, there is no longer an offering for sin." (Heb. 10:17,18)
PAID IN FULL - as to eternal redemption.
[b]" ... having made purification for sins sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Heb. 1:3b)
It is too bad that YOU do not have the assurance of eternal redemption.
But your doubt you can never transfer over to us who believe God's word on the matter.
The stearn warnings Hebrews are concerning the loss or obtaining of something in addition to eternal life, that is REWARD during the millennial kingdom for overcoming through His grace.
One sacrifice before God - FOREVER - PAID for the sins of all.
Substitution takes place to all those who believe in Christ.
Your version of Jesus is not God incarnate as a man is He ?
My God is the man Jesus Christ.
I don't think you realize Who it was Who died on that cross.
Subsequently, your tampering with the plan of salvation is full of man-made ideas.
@rajk999 saidIf keeping His commandments was all that is really required why did He have to die for our sins, we could have just kept His Commandments?
Jesus died so that those who keep His commandments can inherit the Kingdom of God. The "Lord Lord".types will be cast out.
@kellyjay saidThe death of Christ does not relieve anyone of the responsibility to live righteously and to do good works. The death of Christ paved the way for all who are righteous to inherit the Kingdom of God. Without this sacrifice there would be no Kingdom of God.
If keeping His commandments was all that is really required why did He have to die for our sins, we could have just kept His Commandments?
Church Christians continue to demonstrate belief in a dead faith and continue to argue for a lazy meaningless existence void of good works. Your end will be destruction if you continue along this path.
@sonship saidi think it is one of the best forums out there. we can get into the gritty stuff or it just gets so damn funny . i haven't been on in a long time . but i still favor this forum to any others i have seen. i like the fact there are so many different opinions. You are all a good challenge to me
What kind of Forum this is to people depends much on how you use it. And to preach the gospel is a valid use of this Forum.
Some people always want to remind you "This is a debate forum." Yes, it is a debate forum. And it is also a preach the Gospel Forum.
I've been doing so for about twelve years and haven't been thrown out yet. In my preaching of the Gospel I lea ...[text shortened]... ps them. And for some it is a Preach the Gospel of God Forum. Both are equally welcomed apparently.
