The sons of God are the peacemakers, the pure in heart, the Good Samaritans, the sheep who hears His voice, the ones who keep his word, the ones who feed, clothe and help his brethren. Those who profess faith without doing these things Jesus commanded are children of the Devil.

Faith in Christ Jesus causes a man or women to become one of the children of God - one of the sons of God. Sons of course are expected to MATURE. Maturity is the continuation of what has been initiated - to be BEGOTTEN as a son - to be BORN as a son.
You become a human when BORN.
You mature , develop, grow once the birth as taken place.

Selecting verses cannot be ignored by saying that they were "cherry picked."
Why shouldn't we PICK them. They refer to sons of God and [b]"children of God"{/b]. And there are many more verses.

The devils also believe in God, and that is also faith. Faith simply means that you believe that something exists or that something is the truth. Faith alone is nothing. Faith alone James warns is dead.
So if someones faith is not backed up by good works it is worthless. Yes you might be a son of God through faith, but you are going to be a DEAD SON OF GOD, just like the devils and Satan, if it is not supported by good works..

None of the passages I refer to teach disobedience to God as to His commands and His indwelling This is the false alarm you continually seek to establish.
Nothing I teach about being born of God is a teaching or encouragement for believers not to grow to live the highest level of morality as this life will develop in us who are born of God to be His children.
