Why if God commands? Because sinful behavior which reflects the evil in one's heart may have been punishable by death under the Old Covenant but not so under the New.

Execution was good then but evil now.

Too bad that the spirit within you leads you to believe you should condone God's actions.

Other than that, why claim to worship a God who you believe makes immoral demands? So that you can try to convince others that Jesus embraces sin and so should you?

Sin is sin. Israel had to be protected from the perversions of this world until Jesus was born and carried out his purpose.

Once Jesus fulfilled his purpose Israel and its Mosaic laws didn't last much longer.

But what was once sin is still sin. This is why homosexuality in itself is sinful no matter what the society and government try to shove down our throats.

I have already answered that question. I take it you did not read my responses.

You seem to be quite dull.

I already explained your dilemma. The only problem here is your hypocrisy for claiming to be a christian. You claim to worship what you believe to be an evil God.

A little more about the laying on of hands of the burnt offering.

Man can identify with Christ. Man can be in union with Christ. We can be joined to Christ. Laying on the hands coveys this.
"And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him, to make expiation for him." (Lev. 1:4)

For our weaknesses - we need union with Christ. For our defects, faults, and failures we need union with Jesus Christ. Faith that Christ is whatever and all that the fallen man needs is portrayed in the laying the hand on the beast's head.

Our faults are taken up by Him and His virtues become ours.

This occurs in the Holy Spirit and in the realm of the exercise of faith. It is possible because the believer in Jesus Christ has been made within "one spirit" with the resurrected Lord Jesus.

"He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit" (1 Cor. 6:17)

Whatever the besetting sin, the human failure, the moral defect, the fleshly or fleshy defeat, the believer must learn to take Christ as hers or his in complete identification. God has caused the Spirit of Christ to be "organically" joined to the believer's innermost spiritual being.
"The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you." (2 Tim. 4:22)

God desires that the life lived by Christ would be repeated in all those who identify with him through faith.

In union with Christ divine life is dispensed into man's life by the life giving Spirit that Christ became in His resurrection.

"The last Adam became a life giving Spirit" (1 Cor .15:45b)

I get much grace from God when I pray like this:
Lord Jesus, I lay my hands on You. Lord Jesus, You
are the only One in the universe absolute for the will of the Father. Lord, I am not for God in myself. I am only for my own skin. But I identify with You Lord in Your absolute dedication to God's will. Lord Jesus, You be my consecration.

This kind of prayer, standing on Christ for your merit is very effective. God honors such faith. Such faith recognizes Christ's perfection, #1, and recognizes the Christ is for us.

If we had all that God required, Jesus Christ would never have come. He came to earth because ALL we need is in Him.

The expiatory burnt offering was the first offering mentioned in Leviticus (1:1-17) and the first offerings whose law is explained (6:8-13)

I think it is the foundation offering upon which the other offerings go on top of.

Oh of course I could be wrong only God will prove the truth of the Bible.

My problem is with people who claim to be Christian yet do not believe what the Bible clearly states.
And my problem is with people who make stuff up about God only to justify their own bigotry, racism and sexism.

I choose. I choose God.
No, you don't. You choose your version of God.

Your version of God is the one you twist the version of God found in the Bible into.
