It is impossible to exhaust in words the perfection of Christ's whole life and living for the satisfaction of God.

We still should consider John 6:28 too.

"For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will but the will of Him who sent Me." (John 6:28)

We should understand that this extended far beyond just outward actions. In every minute aspect of His inward motivation, thought, inclination, intention He was completely about the eternal plan of God.

This is why the legs (the walk) with the inward parts of the cattle was offered on the altar for a sweet smelling fragrance to Jehovah God.

John 7:18 further helps us to see this.
"He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of Him who sent Him, this One is true, and unrighteousness is not in Him." (John 7:18)

Jesus totally sought to express the splendor of God in man.
This is why God originally created man. But we all fell in Adam. Christ as God incarnate as a man lived that life unto the glory of Divine Life - the Father.

So what is your opinion on the command to kill homosexuals found in Leviticus 20?

What is your view on the God of Leviticus 20 who demands homosexuals be executed?

At this time my burden is to speak of the Christ as the reality of the offerings in Leviticus.

I know you want to talk about the execution of gays.
I know Divegeester wants to talk about damnation.

In "Understanding Leviticus", IMO, some time must be given to seeing how the offerings symbolically portray Jesus Christ as the all-inclusive offering for mankind.

Don't know sir, but you seem to really like him.

The laying on of the hands of the offering one on the head of the slain cattle shows identification with that beast.

"And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him, to make expiation for him." (Lev. 1:4)

Laying on hands really meant it was that offering taking the offering one's place.

Here are a few passages showing the New Testament reality. That is being joined to Christ that He becomes ALL that we need.

"For the love of Christ constrains us because we have judged this, that One died for all, therefore all died;

And He died for all that those who live may no longer live to themselves but to Him who died for them and has been raised." (2 Cor. 5:14,15)

The Levitical offerings point us to Jesus Christ Who was to come. He has now come.

I think you actually want to give 'all the time' not 'some of the time' to discussing the symbolic offerings of Jesus. .

Some of your spam bomb posts about Jesus don't even include quotes from Leviticus.

The laws concerning sexual sins are enumerated in chapter 18.

Before that Leviticus carefully portrays 5 offerings. We should see Christ in all five. Then it goes on to speak further of the law each of those five offerings yet in slightly different order.

1.) 1:1-17 the burnt offering
2.) 2:1-16 the meal offering
3.) 3:1-17 the peace offering
4.) 4:1-35 the sin offering
5.) 5:1-6:7 the trespass offering

6.) 6:8-13 the law of the burnt offering
7.) 6:14-23 the law of the meal offering
8.) 6:24-30 the law of the sin offering
9.) 7:1-10 the law of the trespass offering
10.) 7:11-38 the law of the peace offering

I am getting much help from the outline of the book of Leviticus in the Recovery Bible published by Living Stream Ministry.

Well, you don't believe the Bible says people will burn forever just not have eternal life.

But in Leviticus this actually happened. Do you reject God the father for this thing you must admit happened?

Was God evil?
