In eternal hell, where this odd version of the loving Jesus who died for the world he loved so much, will be burning alive for eternity those who reject his love...what will be the fuel for the flames?

Eternity is a long time, so will there be an eternal butane cylinder or will Jesus employ some other means of keeping the lake of eternal suffering in a state of optimal heat?

BTW, thank goodness I was "predestined" to avoid at that hassle! Could have been an awkward conversation.

In these conversations, I can't help but notice that Satan gets the short shrift. He gets to run hell, but doesn't get to decide who goes there.

Isn't his eternal frustration enough to fuel hell?

God doesn’t decide who goes to hell either. Individual people decide that for themselves.

    Matthew 10:28 says you're wrong.

Saying someone is able to do that is not the same as saying they decide if it gets done.

That a Christ denier agrees with an atheist and neither understands the Bible or God’s love is hardly surprising.

    Sad!

Is it normal for a mental health professional to obsess over something as trivial as thumbs up and thumbs down on a chess forum?

Or is that normal for the patient of a mental health professional?

    He's floundering sir, he's floundering.

It has actually been suggested that he is not a Christian at all, which would seem to be validated by his woeful understanding of the bible and his inability to demonstrate God operating within him.
