How do you know that? He's ordered the death of innocents before, remember. Likewise, how do you know they haven't REALLY receieved instructions from god?

Worse than the murder God is asking our hypothetical person to commit?

Surely there is another way than murder. God, being omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient should just have not created our rapist.

Well, what if I told you that God DID tell a person to kill someone. In fact, He ordered that someone to kill his own son! And that joker obeyed without even questioning why. Of course, in that particular case, apparently, it was just a test from God. But I'm amazed at how one could have obeyed such an order.

And in the case of Muslims, there is a provision that will allow a Muslim to kill on grounds of threat to his religion. And that also was supposed to have come from God.

So... now I ask you, would you kill your own offspring if God instructs you to do so? Or would you pause and start demanding for the reason for such an instruction, at least? Would you obery unconditionally?

So you just don't want to listen to us then? God's okay provided he's far away, is that it?
