I'm happy to know that your feud stopps here and now. No more verbal outbursts, no personal attacks, no more juvenile behaviour. That's good. Then we can be going somewhere.

Back to the questions. The jews are not the people of god anymore, if I understand your answer correctly. They are just headens, as any other unbeliever?

By the way, when you quote the bible, it's not King Edwards translation from 1611, is it? What translation do you use?

(See, friendly friendly... With friendlyness we can get along quite well.)

Proof is different from persuasion. You were unpersuaded. But proof was provided to you that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.

A rehash of the same proofs with the same person again and again is a waste of time and labor.

You remain unpersuaded. That is your choice. But biblical support for the Triune God was proved.

Again it seems we are at this point that Rajj has managed to disrupt any flow of decent conversations that could and should happen here among decent adults that would like to have meaningful discussions which is what I think we all want. Am I wrong?
For myself, I like being here to discuss these things and to learn others beliefs.
So I choose to no longer respond to Rajj's comments at all or to anyone esle that is following his nonsence.
If you have a respondsible comment or question I will be glad to talk to you. Thanks.....

The most abusive person in this thread was not me. It was a fellow JW of yours. So you should stop all discussions with him. In case you and RC did not see it, almost all the posters on this thread agreed that you all reacted with such venom, so that one has to wonder if indeed the list of 141 restrictions are indeed true and you are both ashamed.

A good example is the way RC responded to my comment on blood transfusions. It could be that in the UK the law on kids being deprived of transfusions by their parents is applied but it certainly is not the case in all countries. Its dishonest and childishly stupid the way RC responded. Its as if the UK law applies equally well to all other countries.

By not answering his questions, you give him the right to interprete your lack of response in any way he choses to. Par example, that you are without answers, and he has them.

21.Contribute to religious charitable organizations

27.Work for the Salvation Army
28.Volunteer to work for any charitable or church run organization
29.Donate stuff to a church run store, or charitable organization

We do nothing to promote the existance of any religion that teaches false doctrines, kills and promotes wars and has no share in the teaching work that Jesus told his followers to do.

30.Play competitive sports in school
31.Run for class president
32.Play competitive sports professionally
33.Attend university and work towards a professional degree. This is a matter of conscience, but Jehovah's Witnesses who pursue 'worldly' knowledge are looked down upon because armageddon is fast approaching. Watch this video about Witnesses who didn't get an education before 1975

As I mentioned before alot of us love sports just as much as the next person. But we do not pursue it because of the time involved. We choose to use our time as Jesus said to do with the teaching work. But if a person pursues a carrier in sports it is their business. But again we honor the gift of life that God gave us and the dangers in some sports would endanger that respect we have for that gift.
And a higher education is ones choise also but it is not encouraged because of our dedication to the teaching work.

34.Join the Boy Scouts
35.Join the Girl Guides
36.Buy Girl Scout cookies (some consider this to be wrong since their children can't join these clubs)
37.Join the YMCA
38.Become a cheerleader
39.Go to the school prom
40.Attend class reunions
41.Go to a party at their neighbor's house if they're not Jehovah's Witnesses
42.Have close friends and activity 'buddies' who are not Jehovah's Witnesses
43.Associate with coworkers after business hours in social settings
44.Attend social functions sponsored by their employer
45.Attend any non Jehovah's Witness social functions

Many of these organizations are backed or are actually a part of another religion. Again we do not support other religions.
If a person is not a Witness we are friendly to them but take the scriptures seriously at 2Cor 6:14,16. Heb 10: 24,25. Many other scriptures support this thought. We love our neighbors and will help them with any problems as we all should. But we have to protect our spiritualness and not become unevenly yoked as the Bible says.

46.Read psychology, philosophy, sociology, and viewpoints that might shake their faith in Watchtower teachings. (This cannot be easily policed, but it is looked down upon and considered 'dangerous' to their faith.)
47.Jehovah's Witnesses are discouraged from seeking professional psychiatric help for depression or mental illness

It is often not wise to seek these opinions of others as they often do not have the spiritual outlook that we do. Most problems that humans have are helped by the Bible, God's word.
But in the case of a serious problem and now with medical breakthroughs with medications, many that suffer with mental health problems can find help with this.

The Bible says to only "marry in the Lord" or in ones own faith as it will cause many problems. Again the Bible says to not be "unevenly yolked" with unbelievers.
An engagement is a serious commentment and not to be taken lightly. Common sense with that one.
No sex before marraige? Read the Bible....

Well so far # 1 to 56 seem to be valid JW restrictions. Therefore all statements that I am spreading lies about the JW faith are likely to go down the drain. As stated by so many on this site .. ROBBIE IS A CLOWN. ...😀.

Some of those restrictions are pretty far-out and have no Biblical support.

58.Get divorced unless the reason is adultery
59.Can't remarry unless their ex commits fornication first

The Bible gives only 2 reasons for a divorce or remarrage.
The 1st is death of a spouce. The other is adultry.

If a divorce happens for other grounds then adultry, neither can remarry because adultry has not happened. If it does happen then that frees the other to remarry if they decide too.
