How do you know!? what's your proof that I haven't?

Exactly! I believe that many, if not all organized religions, are reactionary and striving to know what we can't truly know. One can look up at the stars and ask "Who do you think put them there?" and the person beside him could say "What says they had to be put there?" or some other such thing. Then you start getting into the argument of solipsism vs mate ...[text shortened]... the box, so the cat is perpetually dead and alive. Such is the nature of religion as we know it.
I like this guy, and he's Swedish 😀

You have not provided proof.
Only a theory.
Provide your proof, and we can talk.

That I have failed to provide a proof
and provide it in such manner that you would be able to appreciate the premises and arguments within
doesn't necessarily mean that I haven't proved it (perhaps I haven't written it down), or more generally, that I (or anyone else) could not have proved it..

Unless of course you have a proof to the contrary!?

edit: and btw, what exactly was my "theory"?

You have not even stated your belief.
A good place to begin.

Ah yes, I suppose that a failure to know what god (or gods) I suggest I believe in could well impinge on your ability to prove that I have not proven said god(s) exist(s).

Ok, I'm a pastafarian, and I have proved the Flying Spaghetti Monster exists.
it's a very nice proof btw ... top notch stuff!

Over to you to prove I haven't

Don't be so hard on yourself Chaney3, I'm sure someone finds you useful 🙂

But anyway, so you aren't going to prove that I haven't proved the FSM exists!?

Out of curiosity, if everyone else says they have proved the god(s) they believe in exist would that be the end of the thread? or do you think you could turn your attention towards one particular theist and prove they haven't?

Why?
It's just because they have not been properly introduced. 😛

The question should not be, do you know God. The question should be, does God know you?

Produce a good post, or I will kick your ass.

It doesn't matter Dive.
When will you realize that?
