I think that Egil Olsen wins it, at least within English football - he took the Crazy Gang, introduced Zonal Defending, and got them relegated. He is the person most responsible for the calamity that befell Wimbledon FC, who no longer exist, so I think he is the strongest contender for worst manager ever.

thats a good one and will be hard to beat, he was truly a disaster. Can you imagine him trying to motivate his players

Was gona stick ol turnip in myself but to be honest he wasnt to bad untill he took over england. Took watford to the cup final and pulled villa out of the second division . How about Mick Mcarthy?
