Republicans are predicted to win both the House and Senate in November.
Go ahead, kick me when I'm down.

Yep. e.g. https://www.npr.org/2020/06/23/881608999/why-theres-a-push-to-get-police-out-of-schools

But that was when when the tide of public opinion was against cops, so it's okay.

Now that the public has changed their focus, the democrats can take a different stance and it's perfectly fine.

Republicans hold the same view no matter what the latest fad is even if it's not popular at the time.

It's because their kickbacks are always as big as before. Their "view" is shaped by their corporate donors, not their constituents.

We focus on hockey.
Team sports.
The outdoors.
Beer and BBQ

Yall focus on individualism and crap.

We don't have that "look at me" attitude (mostly)

BTW...we all have guns up here. Not handguns but we do have rifles and shotguns.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I think the whole individualism attitude in the States is a big problem 🤔
We agree

American Individualism has never been a problem. In fact, it helped drive the wheels of progress.

It's "Exceptionalism", not "Individualism", that is the problem.

I'd like to see another column on that, labeled "Dollars per Gun Death".

Everyone seems to have forgotten the lessons learned from the BLM and Antifa protests of 2020. It's a good idea to be armed because the police can't protect you from angry mobs.

Any gun in my possession has a 0% chance of being used to shoot up a school, but a non-zero chance of being used to save my life.

Even if your life's not in danger, right Kyle?

Good point

You diminish your credibility by making this insinuation.

Tell me, how is it that I look at the videos and it appears to me that Kyle's life was in danger, where as you have full and complete knowledge that it was not?

Seems as if lotsa' people died in Washington,
on Jan. 6th. I'm more worried about unruly
mobs than (mostly peaceful) protesters..

Kyle was a pussy. No wonder he thought his life was "in danger". But he was a real man with that gun in his hand, that he brought across state lines with him, fully expecting to shoot people.

He might've gotten beat up, but he deserved that after shooting the first man.

His life wasn't in danger, just his pride.

Diminish my credibility my ass. Kyle diminished his own credibility doing what he did.

Yeah, he came, across state lines,
armed and looking to shoot someone.'
True fact, what they used to call, an 'outside agitator.'

I coulda walked among the protestors in Portland without being touched.

The looting was done by the imported militias with guns, trying to fool people that it was the protestors. The biggest false flag in the modern era, but even the conspiracy crowd didn't figure it out. Because it was white people trying to convince others that the black people were the problem. And they bought it hook, line and sinker.

Once the clandestine white vans figured out they were picking up more whites than blacks, they backed off.

As an Australian witnessing this rodeo for the umpteenth time, can I just say, with all due respect to the families that lost loved ones...moving on, nothing to see...

Salvador Ramos is the shooter.

At least all the anti white liberals will stay quiet for once. 😉

(So they will focus on gun control 🙄 )
Waiting for someone to come up with "If he was white the cops would have taken him alive" or some other silly nonsense.
