You keep telling me Trump is guilty of corruption and grift. I’m willling to discuss it, but ‘corrupt’ isn’t an ‘example’ Geez. Give me two or three specific incidents. Tell me exactly what Trump did, when he did it, who benefited, and what law or ethical rule you believe he violated. Then I’ll address eachone. If you can’t identify a specific example, you’re giving me a characterization, not an argument.

I don’t deny that there are serious allegations or court findings. But just what ones are “corruption.”?

You do not understand AI is incapable of malice. That is a human condition. How are you going to regulate the military? They are in a race to beat China.
And how are you going to regulate China? Russia, DPRK, Iran and the rest of the world? Even if the threat was real you have no realistic solutions. Are you going to support invading countries to stop them from developing AI?

I'm obviously not an expert, but shutting off the "electrical grid" is not exactly as simple as you make it seem. Shutting off the grid will be a very bad outcome. Besides that, banking is electric. Airplanes are electric. Hospitals and grocery stores and gas stations and restaurants and homes need electricity. Grids can also operate in isolation in different areas of the world, bridged by an internet connection. Artificial intelligence has already shown us that it can overlook human harm while completing tasks but if it thinks we're shutting off the electricity in a certain area, it will obviously bounce out of there.

I don't know why you keep thinking that the people who are worried about AI are worried about it killing people. That's entirely beside the point. AI will complete tasks with no regard for human life, and on occasion, it might cause mass casualty events. We don't know, but we should probably put up safeguards to prevent it. Why are you against that?
