Is this not the case where the parents were deported becuase of something they did wrong. The parents choose to take the child, who is an American citizen back with them. That was their choice. The child was not deported.

Either INS isn't releasing information on the status of his refugee/asylum case (which has been in the hands of immigration judges for years) or the media reports our right wing friends are relying on aren't bothering to publish it.

That he was able to apply for and eventually get a work permit suggests that he got a favorable ruling at some point but not a final one (probably).
