@AverageJoe1 saidwhy not?
i didn't get those lightweights, either. kingmoses simply stated they need ID to get jobs. i'd said that in the OP. Have they de-volved into just repeating the headline?
it beats admitting defeat lol
@Earl-of-Trumps saidNot ONE of them gives any reason to not have photo ID, except for marauder who continues saying that it is too much trouble. My beautiful retort was that everyone goes to the grocery store about 26 times a year or more for maybe an hour, door to door. This photo ID would call for one trip maybe two in their lifetime , for maybe an hour and a half to get a photo ID. So like you say, this shoots down marauder and he will not respond directly to my analogy. It is not even an analogy, it is a fact. I have factually proven that it is not too much trouble for the average person to get a photo ID.
why not?
it beats admitting defeat lol
Thank you for your attention to this matter, you too marauder

from ChatGPT:
The new, federally compliant form of identification required for domestic air travel and entering secure federal buildings is called a
REAL ID. It is characterized by a star in the upper right corner and meets higher security standards set by the REAL ID Act of 2005.
------------------------------------------
I didn't hear any democrats complain about this new ID, did you, Joe?
And further, if you show up at the airport without this Real ID, TSA will charge you $45.
Did you recall democrats saying that this charge is unfair to poor people and is racist?? I didn't either, AJoe.
We all know that Marauder is full of bull and in denial about it.
ciao
@Earl-of-Trumps saidMarauder, please take these several snippets, although there are hundreds of them, to heart. You have no firm ground on any of your arguments… They sound fancy enough, but there are nothing more than glorified Suzanne responses They don’t say anything, except that you are unhappy with capitalism and you want to be socialist. That’s all it says, but you never really give good reasons, do you. I can beat you on every one of your arguments by simply saying that ‘some people work harder than others.’

I challenge you to write one sentence, like I just did, that has equal effect of solidarity in argument, lingo as mine does.
Thank you for your attention to this matter
I’ll give you a scenario, just to make it easy for you to zero in. You and I are standing in an agricultural area, with several hundred workers in the fields in the shops ,all over a different places, doing different jobs
You might comment to me “look at all these folks doing this stuff. We have to devise someway that everyone ends up the same place at the end of the day”. I think that would be a normal socialist view. I would respond by saying “well marauder, some people work harder than others, we have to consider that..”
Comment?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidSo you guys can make up a new enemies list?
The evidence is all these democrat states refusing to produce voter rolls
@Earl-of-Trumps saidProbably wasn't mentioned on Breitbart, but progressive organizations opposed Real ID when it was enacted in 2005 and called for its repeal long ago: https://www.aclu.org/issues/privacy-technology/national-id/real-id

Lefties perceive that Real ID will be needed to vote some day.
That will put an end to dead people and illegal immigrants voting.
Thanks for the ammo
@Earl-of-Trumps saidLibertarian groups like Cato opposed it as well. Actual libertarians aren't keen on the government insisting on seeing individuals' papers.https://www.cato.org/commentary/real-id-useless-unconstitutional-finally-here

Your SAVE Act says a Real ID isn't good enough.
You're shooting blanks since your unable to produce any evidence of widespread voter fraud that Photo ID laws would prevent.

WRONG.
I don't have to shoot *anything* to vote for what I want.
Do I have to wait for a home invasion before I put locks on the door?
@Earl-of-Trumps saidAre you the government? A libertarian would say that before the State puts restrictions on the freedoms of the People it should have compelling evidence that they are necessary.

You've miserably failed that test.
@no1marauder saidWhat you are saying to me is, if I can't supply reasons why I want to vote a certain way, then I can't vote!!

The reason for Voter ID is so obvious that 84% of the voters know what can happen
should preventative measures not be taken.
Lock the front door, NOW
@Earl-of-Trumps saidRestrictions on other people's rights and freedoms are often quite popular esp. when fueled by misinformation and propaganda like this subject is. In truth, millions of fake photo IDs exist and they are easily obtainable making their efficacy for such a purpose practically nil if someone really wanted to risk a felony conviction for illegal voting. Signature matching is actually far more reliable.

Individual rights trump ill-informed public opinion in our system.

So I will use my individual right to vote in opposition to your ill-informed opinion.
Have a nice day
