@cheesemaster saidWhat corruption did you see in Romania? What were the main differences between Romania and say Szeged, Hungary?
Unfortunately yes.
Secret mission that I cannot disclose.
@cheesemaster saidNo more jokes, th nuance of jokes are lost in a forum, useless, and might make the libs think like flower children..........there is serious stuff afoot.
...telling you would defeat the purpose of "secret mission"...
I can tell you that the olives stuffed with garlic were better in Hungary...
Where I was hungry...
(Stupid joke but I really was hungry that day)
@sonhouse saidOr the covfefe.
@Metal-Brain
You also fail to understand the damage he causes every day, like calling his top generals stupid, saying he doesn't respect POW's BECAUSE THEY GOT CAUGHT.
Like totally ignoring his top intel folks who proved Russia, make that PUTIN, is behind the interference in 2016 AND 2020.
And that would be because Putin has SOMETHING on Trump to force him to excuse A ...[text shortened]... ns you are ANTI America and ANTI democracy.
Maybe one day you will wake up and smell the coffive.
@cheesemaster saidbwahahahaha, no thanks.
@Zahlanzi
Spend one year in the South and you'll be wearing a MAGA hat and proud of it.
Hear a Southern girl say "fix'n" or "y'all" and you will fall in love 🤗
maybe if you pay me 10 million dollars over 2 years. Amerika is great if you're a millionaire.
@no1marauder saidhe needs 4 more years and he is totally gonna do it. And drain the swamp. He wanted to do it but nobody knew it would be this hard, very few people talk about how hard it is to drain the swamp.
No the Donald was, any day, going to introduce his health care plan which would cost virtually nothing, have extremely low premiums yet still provide universal coverage to everyone including those with pre-existing conditions.
But because of the damn voters we're never going to see it!

A word of advice to the Democratic Party: start today to groom a credible candidate for 2024. A credible candidate this time around should have knocked Trumpashenko into a cocked hat.
A word of advice to the Republican party: dump Trump. He's a wanna-be dictator who is destroying the institutions of democracy. Adopt his policies if you find them sound, but jettison that man. Just because Trump did not get the result he wanted does not mean the result is wrong or fraudulent. Accept the vote count, validate the process, otherwise Putin and Jinping will be gloating over the beginning of the end of democracy.
@metal-brain saidThanks for the confirmation.
I see no logic where there is none. You have said nothing to counter my claim. The Senate has little to do with my claim. You are digressing.
@moonbus saidI think us non Republican outside observers doggedly continue to assume that the current Republican Party and its supporters want democracy. Because of demographic changes democracy will eventually bury them politically.

It looks like it was demographic changes coupled with the obnoxious nature of Trumpism that may cost them Georgia.

He didn’t so much drain the swamp as repopulate it with creatures that crashed its property prices.
@cheesemaster saidFunny because I don't think olives grow that well in Hungary. Need a hotter climate.

How do you think the Romanians are screwing up their garlic-stuffed olives compared to Hungarians? Due to a general aversion to garlic in Transylvania perhaps?

@kevcvs57 saidI believe that the reality on the ground is that the Republican Party does not represent the majority of Americans' interests, or even as many as the Democratic Party does. So, in a straightforward majority-rule system, Republicans are bound to take a back seat unless they game the system somehow. In both Bush-Gore and Trump-Clinton, the Democratic candidate polled more popular votes and nonetheless was denied the White House. As of this writing, Biden is also polling more popular votes, yet the result is dependent on peculiarities of the electoral college system, not a straightforward and intuitively obvious one-voter:one-vote system.

It would be very much in the national interest if all parties (including Libertarians) would do two things:
First, publicly acknowledge that each party represents legitimate interests, instead of demonising each other.
Second, next time, field candidates who are sane, rational, and have a remaining life expectancy at of least their possible terms of office. In the current situation, neither candidate fulfils all three criteria.
@mchill saidI really don't think I'm painting the Democrats as Marxist thugs.
But all-in-all, he can focus on bringing people together rather than on cramming a leftist agenda down the throats of the American people. This idea was marked in Biden's statesman-like address yesterday afternoon.
Sir - Though I agree with the bulk of your post, I'd like to point out that the affordable care act was a sincere attempt to bring healthcare to millions who cou ...[text shortened]... cal bankruptcy always a convenient alternative. So, please stop painting Democrats as Marxist thugs.
As far as Obamacare, as I've said many times, I don't mind the Medicaid expansion parts of the bill. It was the restrictions on private policies that bother me. Being against part of the ACA is not the same thing as being against every element of it.

@no1marauder said2 Dem wins in Georgia is unlikely.
Not to throw a fly in your ointment, but it looks like both the Georgia races are going to runoffs after really close first rounds. If the Dems win both there'd be a 50-50 split.
