Don't bother arguing about whether ICE is a police force or a military force. It's neither. I just watched a group of 15 of them tackle and arrest a citizen in a giraffe costume. He was just standing there.
It seems to function as a disorganized, violent mob, cursing, shouting contradictory orders, and attacking unarmed citizens on a whim. It is created for fear and chaos, not to enforce laws or establish order.
As Cliff wrote, be afraid or get yourself killed.

So these officers in large groups, lines of cars and on federal land and you don’t know. Did you know half of them are Mexican, just curious. So fake officers are going in groups and stealing immigrants???

There are many reasons Mexicans would get involved with ICE. One is that they consider themselves Hispanics more than Mexicans and therefore feel no conflict in oppressing Mexicans. They've been doing it for 500 years.
Another possibility is that they are Mexican-American criminals (e.g. Sureños) who are rivals with immigrant Mexicans (e.g. Norteños).
