You don't need to complicate things here. The Trump government is spending more money than the Biden government. These are factual numbers that any Joe Schmo can look up on their own. It's a fact.

You want to brag about a less than 1% reduction in the federal workforce under Trump (did you want to call it a "slash"?), even though you KNOW for a fact that ICE is dramatically expanded, hiring many thousands to make up for it. So, yes, of course jobs were removed from cancer research positions at the NIH and elsewhere but they were also added to ICE and other agencies in the form of either direct government or contractors.
Follow the money.
The size of government is getting bigger, because of Trump. Admit it and then we can move on.
