@AverageJoe1 saidYou admit earlier that Trump is spending a lot more money than Biden was ( which is how size of government is measured), and in the same breath call me a liar for simply pointing out that I don't like that.
You generalize in liberal-eze.
Can't answer that one,,,,need AI, i guess. I'd start with dems funding pbs and the arts, etc. Geez
You're using liberalese. You call Trumps excessive spending an "investment" as if he's out there getting venture capital dollars to support his cause. He is using tax dollars, mate, and spending them in areas that are murky and dark. Where did that extra $200 billion in spending go if he's simultaneously cutting one percent of the workforce then???
PBS pleeease. A tiny drop in the bucket. Look at the big picture here. MAGA is big government and there's no debate. Embrace it! Admit it! Look yourself in the mirror and say out loud "I love big government".
@Mott-The-Hoople saidThat's easy enough.
no, that is you trying to speak for me...so stfu
Just spout that everything is bad and only Trump and what he does to ruin America is good.
That's your entire schtick.
Just another anti-social white boy wanting the world to conform to him.
Just GTFO.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidSpreading wealth is indeed THE socialist principle. Suzanne, get after him. Now there is a lie.
"and is not at all a socialist principle."
LMFAO
@wildgrass saidLiberalese? Please.

It's the new Republicanism. Or "Trumpublicanism" if you prefer.
A good percentage of this government grift finds its way into the Trump Crime Family's Private Vaults. This is what most people call "embezzlement". It's also what Trumpublicans call "the cost of doing business". Trumpublican government is not "real" government. They call it "business". And you KNOW who profits in a business. Not the worker bees.
@Suzianne saidOk 2 more straight answers. Good out of mouth is in same category as shutting job corps. Is there an exact action on his part which stopped food coming to people who were starving? You should at least highlight that one. Thank you.
Funny, I'd start with Trump not shutting down needed government agencies and services and not firing untold numbers of veteran government officials and not taking food out of the mouths of children in his quest to fund another huge tax-cut for the rich (including himself, of course).
I do think that firing people in the government was simply a reduction and staff that was not necessary. Y’all have blown that one out of proportion. I remember you yourself said in one of your post that they need jobs. What a horrible reason not to fire somebody..
@AverageJoe1 saidYes, keeping wealth at the top is Republicanism. Keeping it in Trump's pocket is Trumpublicanism.
Spreading wealth is indeed THE socialist principle. Suzanne, get after him. Now there is a lie.
Don't pee on us and tell us it's raining.
Don't MAKE me spank you until you cry.
(Nah, you'd probably like it. You Trumpers are weird. Mott says "perverted".)
@Suzianne saidFine. It used to be liberalese. Republicans used to be against handouts.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidThis is such a fvcking retarded position, I really shouldn’t bother answering.
"without inviting the Palestinians to the table."
what exactly is a palestinian?
where did they originate?
is someone that moved there last year a palestinian?
But, just to reach out: the majority of countries on the planet have recognised a Palestinian state.
What exactly is a caucasion? And where did they originate?
Do you know the difference between a Palestinian and a Jew? Besides religion?
What is a Jew? Where did they originate? To make it easier… they were once called hebrews.
@AverageJoe1 saidDemolishing USAID, for one. De-funding SNAP is another.

Wouldn't be quite so bad on a philosophical level if white families suffered as much as minority families.
What about spending 99% of their time kneeling at Trump's feet?
Now that is a GREAT reason for firing Trump's entire Cabinet.
@AverageJoe1 saidIn the context of my initial comment, which you called a lie, it doesn't matter where the money is going. Take the tax money out of PBS and give the same amount to a shady "military contractor", the size of government remains the same.
Trump wants to stop sending money to PBS and the imposing Kennedy Center. Tell me, do you think that the government should give money to the Kennedy Center? Why would they do that?
If you increase expenditures coming from government to wherever, as trump has obviously done, then you are increasing the size of government.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidIt's NOT "all of a sudden".
What tariffs and by who? Why all of a sudden do tariffs suck?
Tariffs, and the way big business responded to them, lengthened the Great Depression. Made it even worse for the man on the street.

@AverageJoe1 saidHe just invaded another city of his own country with the military, you fascist traitorous piece of crap
Please don’t go SHouse on us, make it factual , readable, brevity, to the point.
@Suzianne saidIt's quite impressive that his administration could demolish USAID, castrate the NIH, defund SNAP and NPR, and still massively increase overall government spending. We don't even know what they're spending it on. Have reporters looked into it?

@wildgrass saidMost Republican expenditures are handouts to corporations.
Fine. It used to be liberalese. Republicans used to be against handouts.
Democrat expenditures are concerned with "making a more perfect Union", improving the lives of citizens (as per the Constitution), not business. Businesses, as illustrated, can look after themselves. Apparently, they get an automatic audience at the top from Republicans.

@wildgrass saidThey are afraid of getting bullied into non-existence, or canceled, by Trump if they do so.

Investigative journalism is a thing of the past. The Fourth Estate is no longer a watchdog on government malfeasance. They are too concerned with the Kardashians and other internet "influencers" and the newest "Amazon specials". News source websites are more advertisements than news.
