So the 20 year old junkie who followed your granny home from the Post Office after she had collected her £80 pension moeny, dragged her into her own home, beat her up and killed her should be allowed to live.
I think not.
Bring back the death penalty in the UK.

Now i am not a nasty Man but i would chop his Bollox of for what that bastard did. People rather jumped than burn to death, America is certainly a mighty place that after about 6 months you give up the hunt for Bin Ladan.

9-11 terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui just got life in prison just handed down by the jury he should have got the death penalty but dont worry folks this asshole will never survive prison he will be killed by other inmates. But i wonder how this jury reached this verdict. it SUCKS
THEY ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR SOME EXCUSE TO BLAME OTHERS.

Corrections needed for this thread:
1. It is cheaper to give someone life in prison than it is to carry out the death penalty.
2. The only way someone who gets a sentence of life without parole can be let out of prison is if they win an appeal (either being found innocent or getting the sentence reduced) or are issued a pardon by the President.
3. Appeal to emotion is a fallacy for a reason.
4. Strawman is the same.

The best of it these IRA bombers were treated as heroes, for killing innocent woman and children. Another innocent mother of 15 children was murdered for helping a wounded British soldier. Should have been hanged the lot of them, a bunch of cowards.

Does anyone know or have any educated opinion about the quality of life this guy will experience in jail? Muslim extremism is growing in the jails I thought I heard somewhere so I suspect he'll be kept away from the general population. I am trying to understand if there will be any deterrant factor to other potential terrorists or if such people will feel fine about the consequences, knowing that life in jail in the USA ain't so bad.
