Most people from other countries? Maybe this is just a sweeping generalisation for the lulz, but I'll respond anyway. What I see most, both here and in real life, are people being anti-Bush and anti-current-American-politics (so are most Americans I know), as well as anti-American-patriotism and anti-American-superiority-complex. Of course there are p ...[text shortened]... k they hurt the image of the U.S. a lot more than anti-American non-Americans may do.
Huck and I hammered it out, and I suppose I only remember the negative things. That wasn't a sweeping generalization for lulz, it was me typing something and not really thinking at all.

Basing your opinion of all Rest-of-Worldians on Huck is like the rest of us basing our opinion of all Americans on Charlton Heston.

No, meaning Huck pointed out we are more often going to remember negative things and THINK it's everyone.

Charlton Heston is super!

No, I learned something here. I didn't know that 'some' people from other countries really don't like the US. I learned something today also... that it's probably not 'most' or 'many'.

I am absolutely convinced that I don't know all that much and that I am not always right, but I am also convinced that I am right about saying that these stereotypical Americans exist, but that most Americans are not like that. Do you disagree with that?

The only problem i had with this thread is that someone made a comment about America getting over 9 /11.....like we're a bunch of cry babies. Why can't we have our memorial? Who's the scum sucking jackass that started this crap? Crawl out from beneath your rock before i cut my other wrist.
