Russ is quite aware many subscribers have not renewed their subs. What she is saying and it is true more will be doing so if the present situation is not corrected. Keep in mind if someone does not leave the site, the site still makes money from them having to watch advertisements.

I am sure they do very well on that. Subscriptions for all I know or you, may not even be that important to them. Sure they probably require a certain amount, but may have that already and more! I believe we are all pawns in the big picture.

Maybe Russ is unimpressed by Suzianne, what she represents, what her behaviour means, what weight her self-appointed day in day out scorn-for-scorn's-sake schtick carries, and - especially in this instance - what her diagnosis is.

With such a tiny, tiny proportion of the web site's paying subscribers being forum contributors, I for one think Suzianne's diagnosis is paranoid, blowhard, self-aggrandizing nonsense.

I would think that, even if all the regular forum posters who are subscribers were to cancel their subscriptions in various fits of public chest-beating pique, that it would scarcely make a dent on the many thousands of subscribers who use this site to play chess and who are probably not the slightest bit interested in - or even aware of - whatever petty slights and snubs there have been that have made Suzianne so terribly angry. I am pretty sure that Russ is quite aware of this too.
