At one time I owned about 20 firearms.
I live in Arizona, where there is no law preventing you from wearing a sidearm on your hip in public, with no license required as long as it's not concealed. Concealed weapon permits are easy to come by if you want one. My son-in-law recently visited us and wore his Glock .45 evreywhere we went because it tickled his fancy. To the mall, the movies,miniature golfing, even to Wal-Mart.
I don't carry a gun myself, because I don't feel the need, but it's nice to know you can if you want to. If you go into a public building, like the library, they provide lock boxes so you can "stow your iron".
Arizona is cool.

The problem here (at least in Ireland) is the sentencing - just recently a rapist found guilty in a court of law was sentenced to three years - suspended. Prison is a doss. Television, food without mould, mobile phones - what a bunch of crap.
These Euros and their stupid gun laws. Glad I don't live there. Nothing like seeing a head explode like a ripe melon.
