Do you have a problem with homosexuality?

No, I have a problem with cretins taking a beautiful piece of poetry and mocking it for their own moronic amusement.

Thanks, Mary Whitehouse, but the orginal poem's lame, rbm's was not. And besides, if Stocking wasn't ready for the inevitable derision, he shouldn't have bothered posting here, it's not like he's new to the assylum. Summary: you lose.

I friggin' love you, Suzi. 🙂

I expected as much from them. We know they can't leave a thread alone
if it's not to their taste, and who cares really, but them?

Now that I read the poem a day later with a sober head, I see clear
problems with rythm (as usual). Rhyming I didn't care about here. Other
than that, I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, so they can't really
get to me. It wasn't supposed to be witty or clever, but merely to
describe a sentiment that some consider lame.

Having said that, it's always nice if people can post what they like without
being attacked all the time. I do feel that this forum is PFC's territory,
where if they don't like something/someone it's their duty to try
and put it down. This is the very reason I keep posting my crappy
(sometimes beautiful - thank you so much for that, by the way) poems
here, and annoying repetitions about sex, religion and capitalism.
Because I know it gets to at least some of them.

I honestly don't care what they do, but enjoy the fact that I managed to
get them here, spewing their crap all over the place. It means I have,
once again annoyed them to the point of gathering the flock for what
they thought would be fun-time.

Again, I think you're beautiful for stepping in like this. Here's a huge hug
for you, Princess. 🙂

We meet up after work as agreed.
We meet by the steady ol' oak.
A tender kiss and a smile combine,
forbidden love between two guys.

And after we've walked the leaf padded, meandering road,
in assless chaps, our buttocks bare.
Beams of light, touched by red and yellow,
fall through nature's daywise thinning coat.

And after we ...[text shortened]... s autumn sunset is over,

fireside companionship
await
our
saturated
corn
holes.
Ouch!

hang on a minute... to enjoy something, you must care in some way for/about it. Make your mind up!

It means I have, once again annoyed them to the point of gathering the flock for what they thought would be fun-time.

Annoyed? Don't puff your chest out too far. You poked your head above the parapet or took the third light, that's all.

It doesn't matter who'd posted that poem. Fact is it's pretty lame. It got what it deserved.

Wow, that's even more putrid than the poem was...

I say it should at least should be worth a years subscription. You are to modest to allow your masterpiece defaced in public. The attorneys have come out to defend the accused already. Can't you see $$ in their eyes.
