Case in point.....my statement made no prediction EXCEPT that I thought Texas would be ranked #1 and that Notre Dame would not be in the Nsational Championship. I also made a statement that the Big 12 and the SEC appeared to have the toughest conferences this year. I also stated that Texas' remaining schedule was the toughest in the country.
No one ever said that Notre Dame had a chance to play for the championship. Your after the games are over predictions are good, but maybe you should try doing them before the opening kickoffs.
You are an absolute jerk when you want to be. Unfortunately, you always seem to want to be.

However, the Gators DID destroy LSU like he said, and time will tell what comes of it later in in the BCS...
That being said, why did you tell him to shut is mouth? Just curious.
I followed the games this weekend, and I always do. If Texas Tech EVER gets a defense, watch out!!!! I lived in Lubbock for 4 years, and they know how to party and get pepped up for games!

Yes, and LSU had a pretty difficult time with Auburn if memory serves, something like 26-21. Auburn has proven itself to be pretty weak. They lost to both Vandy and Arkansas. How the hell anyone other than Michigan can lose to Arkansas is beyond me.
Although Florida defeated Tennessee, it wasn't exactly a great offensive showing for the Gators.
All indications are that the SEC is down this year.
Important game tomorrow night: BYU at TCU. BYU is already rated #8 and looks like a lock for a BCS bid IF they run the table. This shapes up as their toughest game before the season finale at Utah; the Horned Frogs are a solid Mountain West team that is 6-1 with their only loss at Oklahoma (a 35-10 pasting though giving up "only" 35 to the Sooners ain't a disgrace). The game is pretty much a tossup; last I saw BYU is favored by 1.
My system says BYU wins by 3 but I might take TCU.

Your system should have taken into account the fact that those two teams had connections. BYU played Washington and almost lost. OU played Washington. OU played TCU. TCU gave OU a much better game and TCU played them in Norman. I'm glad to see that TCU kicked the Mormons' butts.
Texas might be able to pull it off, but I think they lose 1 and take the Big XII South.

Anyway, mid-major BCS hopes are down to Utah and Boise State (again). Boise has the easier schedule and a nice road win against Oregon when the Ducks were ranked in the Top 25.
Originally posted by EladarI guess you overlooked that Masoli, the starter, was knocked from the game by Boise State's defense. Darron Thomas, a freshman, didn't do too badly going 13-25 for 210 yards and 3 TDs, though a lot of it was after Boise had a big lead. The Broncos put 37 points on the board against Oregon in their own house and Kellon Moore went 24-36 for 386 yards and 3 TDs. Oregon was ranked #17 at the time. http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/gameTrax?gameId=200809200060
The Ducks were without a quarterback too. But I suppose those kinds of things get overlooked.
That's still a pretty impressive win no matter how much people who don't know anything about the game claim otherwise.
When a team loses their quarterback, they aren't the same team. Besides, wasn't that the Duck's second string quarterback that Boise knocked out of the game? I seem to remember something about the Ducks playing with their 3rd string quarterback.
In any case, I'd love to give teams like Boise State a chance with an NCAA play off system. The crap we have right now is a joke.

For you Big Ten fans, Penn State and Ohio State got blow out wins today (though the Nittany Lions struggled in the 1st half against Michigan) in front of their clash next week in Columbus. It's virtually certain that the winner of that game will win the Big Ten and highly probable that if Penn State wins it will go to the BCS Championship Game.
Any one think the Buckeyes can upset Penn State?
