Can you log on to hotmail (ignoring accessing your inbox, just log on the the msn system)?

A) I don't know how to do a System Restore. Where is it?

B) Please stop bickering; I'm confused enough as it is.
Close all programs that you've opened.
Click on the Start tab
Click on the bottom where it says All Programs
Move your mouse up to where it says Accessories
Then move the mouse over to SYSTEM TOOLS
Scroll down to the System Restore program

At this point (not knowing the exact problem with your pc) I suggest restoring your computer to the date before you started having these problems.

SOrry if this has been answered - Do you have an antivirus program and have you made changes to it recently?

No instruction to backup important data first? That's downright irresponsible.

I don't reckon its anything on your PC. There could be a DNS problem with your ISP. You might want to call your ISP and see if they can be more help than us losers.

Installing Firefox to fix such a problem is such a bunch of ass.

Yes. It comes in a zip file; I don't know how to open those.
