All of a sudden on Friday, my hotmail account has ceased functioning. Whenever I go to my inbox, I get the dreaded "Page Not Found" message. Also to my extreme annoyance, I am not able to send my turnfiles in my Medieval Diplomacy or Napoleonic Empires games. I'm using an old Pentium II with not a lot of memory (128) but I've never had this problem before. The connection is DSL through my phone coompany (Verizon). Any of you computer nerds have any idea what the hell is going on?

C:\Documents and Settings\no1marauder\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
And delete all.
Good luck.
Originally posted by PeachyI already deleted the temporary internet files; I'll try clearing the cookies though when I do that I always have to re-enter passwords and such. Thanks.

Firefox is the away. If you are using it, then install the latest version, 1.5.
If still trouble, then am out of ideas..

First of all do a test... Try going to the site that gives you "Page Not Found" and when you get that message hit the F5 key and see if it goes through. If it does then you're fine, if not then we need to look at some other possibilities.

Originally posted by NordlysThis is possible if the site he was trying to connect to was temporairly down. I doubt that's the problem though.
It could also be a temporary problem which doesn't have anything to do with your computer or anything you have done, and which will go away without your being involved.
Originally posted by NordlysThat would be nice; however, I'm on a Tuesday night time deadline for the wargames (I really don't use my e-mail for much else).
