I didn't say you were a tourist. I merely pointed out that your little quiver of shabby generalizations about "Eastern girls v Western girls" has a lot in common with many smitten single male western tourists seeking a mate in the part of the "East" I live in.
I must admit that there is a difference, and this was the point that i was trying to make, in that because eastern girls tend to be brought up in a culture of subservience (right or wrong), they tend to be, generally very submissive. Not only that, but many are very physically attractive as well, put the two together and you can hardly blame men for finding the combination attractive.

what her circumstances as a child had to do with me, or this discussion, i have no idea, the reference was given to show how she overcame her own adversity later in life. if you notice, i did state that she was doing quite well when we got married, did i not!
