WE give assylum seekers due process. Illegal immigrants are criminals and are treated as such, under "due" process"...what more can I say or do you want to hear?
Same error - due process actually means you can't be treated as a criminal unless convicted by a court (plus you can be in jail awaiting trial).

The Australian legal system is essentially the same as yours and the issue of whether immigration detention is imprisonment (ie jail) has gone to the highest court in the country. It's been made abundantly clear that illegal immigrants are not criminals, and cannot be imprisoned. Immigration detention is an administrative process performed by the Executive arm of government. Criminal conviction is a judicial process, performed by the courts.

This is the basic legal point you don't understand. Illegal and criminal are NOT the same thing. Ironically, it's you that don't know the meaning of ILLEGAL.

A person who enters a country unlawfully/illegally is liable to be deported, yes. They may be administratively detained to facilitate that deportation, yes. But this does not mean - and never has m ts were charged with a crime, it would be contempt of court to deport them in the meantime.
OK, genius, 🙄, the definition of illegal according to the Random House College dictionary is: not legal; contrary to existing statuses, regulations, etc.; unauthorized.......Syn: UNLAWFUL. I don't know about in OZ, but in the US, if you commit an UNLAWFUL act, you are considered a criminal.

Crime: an action or an instance of negligence that is deeemed injurious to the PUBLIC welfare or morals or to the interest of the state (United States) and that is LEGALLY prohibited (like crossing our border).

Criminal: Law- of or pertaining to crime and its punishment. 2. of the nature of or involving CRIME. 5. person guilty (crossing the border) of a CRIME. Syn: unlawful, ILLEGAL.

There, you HAVE IT!. What part of Illegal alien can you not figure out is considered criminal?

You crazy liberals twists words to suit your definition in the context that promotes your agendas, but the BOOK proves you don't know what the hell you are talking about. Illegal aliens are CRMINALS.....just not convicted.....should you have our courts clogged trying to prove an Illegal alien didn't cross the border Illegally?...wait, don't answer that question.....I already know the answer...🙄

I wonder what would have happened if the Native Americans could have kept US (get it, US) out.

Well, let's not stop there. What would have happened if Gaul and Israel had kicked the Romans out? What if the Romans had told the Barbarians that they couldn't enter Rome. In fact, what if the Native Americans from the north were told by the Mayans, Pueblos, Aztecs, and others thgat they couldn't migrate south. Don't exclusivley use the U.S. as an example. You are comparing apples to oranges, anyway. If you want a million Illegals living in your neighborhood, and I know you don't, adopt some. I am talking about Illegal immigrants, not legal immigrants....that comparison would be apples to apples........

So, anybody who drives at 31 in a 30 zone is a criminal?

Btw: I'm curious as to why nobody has brought up the problem of the thousands of illegal Irish in America? I suppose most irish are white people. I guess it makes a difference in some people's minds.

It depends upon the poster. Chance can be comic, but that was his best argument.

If they are caught then they are deported. They have an advantage knowing the language.

Dumb laws? They can't get papers because they are here illegally. Since you are from Mexico then tell me what the laws are of Mexico concerning illegal aliens and what does a person has to do to reside legally in Mexico. You will find out that they are more stringent than here in the US. And please don't throw that racial caca at me. Por que yo tengo esposa Mexicana, y yo sabe los leyes para vivir en Mexico.
