I saw some guy putting trash into our dumpster. Like construction stuff
I got close enough to make out his license number and memorize it. I told him he couldn't dump there and he needed to get his stuff out of there. I then started to offer to help him. He pushed me, knocked me down, punched and slapped me, threatened me and my family if I called the cops. He then got on h ...[text shortened]... and elbow. I wish I was 30 years younger.
I did call the police, they are investigating as assault.

I was in the variety store in a nearby town that I go to periodically. I asked the owner why he had, what looked like a Samurai sword, behind the counter. He said just in case. I thought he was joking and laughed. Well Xmas morning he had three guys come into his shop, one of whom had a sawed off shotgun which he fired into the ceiling demanding he open his safe. The fellow grabbed the sword, swore at the intruders, started chasing them, who as they fled, fired back towards him, luckily missing him. I asked him what on earth he was thinking when he did what he did. He said he just reacted automatically. Was he brave or just did what he did, without thinking?🤔
