I would like to point out that London is not paralysed with fear. There has been some unpleasantness; people are dead. But the over-riding emotion I'm seeing is just resigned annoyance (if that is a bona fide emotion). There's no real anger, and certainly not an aura of fear. We'll get on and I'm sure that 90% of people will struggle into work tomorrow.
It takes more than a few pissant bombs to bring London to a standstill.

The airport where I work was thrown into chaos,security stepped up considerably and we are in the Scottish Highlands,all flights now back on schedule from Inverness to Gatwick/Luton/Manchester/Glasgow/Heathrow...sleeper train from Inverness to London cancelled so if anyone has any loved ones that where supposed to be travelling down on that, chances are they have now hired a car to make their way down to London...

Cousins in London passed through the underground and got out ok. With reports now confirming 50 dead and 500 injured thoughs won't stray from the injured and families of the grieving.
I don't think this is a suitable thread for talk of subduing anger or excusing terrorist indiscriminate killers. Britain won't go off half baked, she'll bunker up and carry on until accomplice killers are identified.
