I want my damn turnfile! Do they expect me to sit here calmly writing notes on the British Home Front in WWII instead of playing Med. Dip. 😕

You left out Venice - Bavaria

Certainly you could not have forgotten the hardfought struggle of the Venetian fleet against their mighty Bavarian foe?

No, they haven't. The list also omitted these conflicts:

Acquitaine - Aragon (Narbonne)
Poland - Teutons (Thorn)
Venice - Bavaria (Adriatric Sea)

I heard the Lithuanians were at war with the Teutons as well... or was that just rumor?

Have your "brave" troops take a harbor and build another fleet, so you can get it sunk for no purpose whatsoever. A Lord Nelson you ain't.

I think Schakuhr forgot to actually declare war and thus his attempt to enter Teuton territory didn't work. Arles might have attacked Acquitaine in Langeduoc unsuccessfully, but I'm not certain.

EDIT: The Lithuanians tried but failed to go to war. http://www.timeforchess.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=34723&page=41

The diplomat died of a heart attack on the way to the Teutons. My army was advancing on his provinces, but when they found the body, they realised the Teutons weren't given a warning 😛

That was certainly sporting of you. I'm sure you sent the Master of the Teutonic Knights an e-mail prior to this turn informing him of your intention to invade his territory.

If there is anything left - Novgorod and Poland have made short work of the Order, it seems.

All warfare is based on deception.

If the Teutons are led by any kind of a competent leader, they should have regained at least 2 and more likely three of their provinces from Novgorod this turn (though they'll probably lose one they took from N). The Poles are a bit more of a problem for them IMO plus for some bizarre reason they seem to have declared war on Saxony.

Well, the Teutonic Commander is new - I guess the competency of this person will show itself...or not.

New turns are in. Map is updated. Let me know if I missed anything.

Some interesting developments this turn:
Aquitaine gets hammered
The Teutonic Order proves to be more resilient than anticipated
Venice loses a chunk of land
Denmark is relegated to Sweden

Some things stay the same:
France, the Hafsids, and the Byzantines all do nothing.
