I'm pleased to see that Acquitaine has been knoecked down a peg. With any luck he shouldn't last any more than a couple of turns with three countries pressing on his heels.

Well.

The email to say they didnt receive my fecking orders comes at the same time as the email with the next turn file. That's handy lads.

God, what's the damage? I created the peasant rabble last turn so my plans are fecked. Rhaetia fell, which didn't surprise me as everyone warned me to protect Provence.

So, 25 gold and 2 provinces? Not lo ...[text shortened]... The bones of the Arletian dead will be ground into your eyes as a reminder of your perfidy!
Perfidy - the quality or state of being faithless.

Faithless - Not to be relied on; untrustworthy

Someone who breaks agreements on sucessive turns really shouldn't be using the term "perfidy" to describe someone else. Oddly enough, I might be the only one in the game who has followed every one of his agreements with another realm to the letter AND the spirit.

I'm on a historical kick with the proclamations as you are probably aware: I used Abe Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation first, then FDR's Pearl Harbor speech and then a combination of excerpts from Churchill's "Blood, sweat and tears" and " Finest hour" speeches. I might use a Joe Stalin one next as I have been sneak attacked by Germans, too (Hungarians, Germans, same thing).

Yep. Better than that, it says 'Turn 5' in the corner and the old one said 'Turn 4'.

Controversially I'd say you're right no1. The irony eh?

Out of interest - when a country is exterminated do we still get the turnfile? I'm being lazy here I know, I should check the book. I'd be curious to keep abreast of developments.
I doubt if we'll get the turnfile after we're deceased. But you can get on a list for another game as soon as your situation is "hopeless" according to the site. So we can make the same mistakes all over again!😛

If you looked at the email for this week, you'd see that France is already a computer controlled realm.
