Yup. No1's ratings are wrong. The Horde is a major force to be aware of and should be at least in the top five. Luckily for me it's a problem to be faced by the likes of Hungary, Poland and Lithuania.

Roum is another to watch out for. Sneaky towelheads.
The Golden Horde prefers peace, prosperity, and pulchritude. Plenty of pastures for the grazing of our sheep. A new yurt with aluminum siding. We are a passive and pacific people.

Now that all the lawless, independant provinces around us have been shown the light of civilization, and the predatory Byzantine pirate fleet has been properly punished, we prefer to pass our time in pastoral pursuits.

Troops outside a fortification are better. I can move them then transfer to another unit and still have a move or two.
When you say "outside of a fortification" you mean troops that are not in Garrison, right?

I have no problem with ths drivel, as long as it stays in game. No1 seemed to be the one to start with the personal attacks (against the player, not the RPing leader of a nation), and despite being asked repeatedly to knock it off and keep the slings and arrows in-game, he just kept on, and now he's complaining that he's just playing a game and if *we* wan ...[text shortened]... Europe-wide, hehe).

This game, and its obvious ancestor, is called Diplomacy for a reason.
Obviously you can't read.

This is what I have a problem with: Your continued disrespect ("someone with your lack of knowledge" ) and disregard for the other players in this game ("the calibur of the military leadership of my enemies being quite low" ).

If we suck so badly, then by all means, beat us. Should be easy, eh? I mean since we suck so badly, and all.

🙁
Both are in-game comments, unlike yours.

Only if someone was nice enough to mail you the turnfile. But don't ask me.

On second thoughts, is there any reason why not? Fellow players?

EDIT: Actually, there is. I don't want anyone else to know my troop dispensation ie how they're split. Opponents only get an overview of what's in a province and not whether they're in a fortification or not. This makes a difference in your ability to move those troops.
No, it doesn't.

Make your own ratings system if mine is sooooooooooooo deficient. The Horde's army is below average in both combat strength and hit points. And while I don't take geographical factors into consideration, his navy is of limited use at this time as it cannot go anywhere but in the Black Sea until Byzantium is taken.

Just in case of being accused of sneak attack -

Archers and siege engines? Good plan, but BuffaloBill said you could take Venice with them so why screw around?

BTW, I realize you know very little about military terminology, so I'll help you. A sneak attack is an attack by one country that was at peace with another without warning and/or a declaration of war. It is not possible to "sneak attack" an opponent when you are already at declared war with them. The attacks on the Republic last turn were sneak attacks and Hungary's was doubly treacherous as it came when their worthless King had informed us that he would reinstate the alliance the day before his attack.

If you remember correctly, I specifically told you I was going to sink your fleet BEFORE I attacked it. That's the more traditional way to start a war.

Obviously, I CAN read... more disrespect? You seem determined to piss everyone off. This is what happens when we can't tell your "game" face from your normal arrogance.

Look, I really don't care if a bunch of you want to act like 5 year olds and make your decisions in an internet war game based on who you don't like. It's childish, but that's up to you. KnightWulfe was the first one to start tossing personal comments rather than in-game comments and ATY and you have kept it up. So stop your whining and play the game.

Yes, obviously you can tell my in-game comments apart from my OOC (out-of-character) comments. I wonder why we're all having problems telling *yours* apart? It's this inability to tell the difference between your in-game disrespect and OOC disrespect that originally pissed KnightWulfe and AThousandYoung off, so I'm not alone in trying to guess where you're coming from at any one moment.

Then you obviously all need to grow up.

Well, since this is Diplomacy, then obviously those who can be diplomatic have an advantage over those who can't.

Interesting phrasing in your comment. If you were to take a poll about 2 or 3 turns ago, we all would have said the same about you. Too bad we all can't easily tell the difference between your in-game and your OOC. In-game comments are a little more than just tacking "Bavarian" onto your comments.

As far as whining, I don't see where you get that. I just have an opinion (like you) and I'm just stating my opinion (like you). You are so quick to bring out your disrespect for others when they disagree with you. It hasn't been your in-game comments that have turned people against you. In-game comments are just that. In game. When you personally attack others OOC, it riles them up, ok? People start thinking, ok, if he really thinks I'm that big of an idiot, let's see how he likes me after I remove him from the game. I would think you could put aside your natural abrasiveness for the sake of one game, and use some Diplomacy. In-game AND out.

Go Google "meta-game" (and its reference to gaming, in particular) sometime and you might understand what I'm saying.
