God's already on Italy's side, so if you want to get back in his good graces you'll have to turn on your heretic and infidel friends, King of Hungary. I have heard reliable reports that Pope Ivanhoe the Paranoid will be making a statement through King Phil later tonight on this very subject.

King Phil's channeling Ivanhoe? That must be rough.

The Way of the Cross is sometimes a heavy burden to bear.

BTW, Heather no1's been awful quiet lately. Will he be making any announcements in the future similar to his pronouncements that the Republic was "already beaten"? It's good for Italian morale.

Speaking of Morocco, I am very impressed Nook. You took the weakest power and made it #2. Congratulations!

I think that's a surrender, but since I'm speaking an Italian dialect of the 14th Century I don't fully understand modern Italian. I'll get a translator and convene the Grand Italian War Council to see if they want to spare you and the other Heather's lives or whether you will have to accept being a halberd ornament.

It's hypermodern Italian. Here's a metahypermodern English translation: "no1 heather was calm because we do not have nothing you fall in windbags pompous as this. As has been declared roughly this there in the 2 weeks, I become with you. The vote Germany will be realised our action. It should you do not know nothing plus."

Wow. This is pimp. If Bavaria's surrendering, I get a promotion to #1!!!

I got some idea of that in BOTH languages, but it wasn't interesting enough to spend the time going through the German for a word-by-word blow.

Although I don't think that 'windbags pompous' is terribly good Italian. 'Bombastischen windbeutel' was more fun.

Oh, and it would be "Heather Nu1" if you were really trying in German. You switched it round in Italian, but it also would be "nu1" not "no1".

Excessive Babelfishing. But I can also give you my own translation of your German text:

"Heather no1 has been quiet, because we have nothing, to the bombastic windbags as self to say. Before as about two weeks was declared, I will with you done. The voice of the Germans will be carried through our activities. You don't need to know anything anymore."
