Good for Sweden and you!

I wish we could have gotten more curling. we did get some women's but very little men's,
as those games were on a pay station. They are still showing certain events here. Maybe they will show the curling.

I love that game, but just like football, the US has a long way to go.

Thanks both of you. These are the best ever Olympic Games for Sweden - 18 medals. 🙂

What amazes me is Norway, with a pop. of 5.6 million, winning more golds than any nation *ever* in a winter olympics,

Kudos, Norway. Oh, and the US had a great olypics too

@Earl-of-Trumps

Norway has terrific winter athletes, winter sports have long traditions and Norwegians have a remarkable fighting spirit and discipline.

They also have snow. 🙂

We have to practice on cotton wool.

Must be difficult to find the right ski wax.

Torunn, I'm watching a replay of the Sweden/Switzerland curling match that they did not show us before, dang them!!

I wish I didn't see your post as to who won, but that's Ok, I'll enjoy it anyway 🙂

We are happy with the results. The only sad thing was the men's skiing that didn't work well enough. They were extremely disappointed and it moved my heart. Seeing young men cry is difficult.

Yuh, ahh, the Irish requested to not be identified.

You know, quiet folk

i read a thingie on the internet today
i wonder if it's true what they say

"Since 1998 US woman's hockey has medaled in every winter Olympics -- 8 times. The men? Only 3 times."
